Re: Keep on waking up every 2 hours, any solutions?
I am brand new here - and brand new to CPAP this week - so please take anything I say with a grain of salt, and apologies in advance if I do this wrong! I had to jump in at the mention of Lisinoprol. I started taking it about two years ago for high blood pressure, and at some point noticed I had so...

Re: Heated tubing question
Hello, I am new to this board. I’m having trouble with water dripping on my face at night and my mouth drying out. I have a heated tube but I have found that on the nights when I wake due to the water my tube does not feel warm. When I turn my machine on to go to sleep, the tube feels warm when I t...

Re: CPAP, brain fog, blocked nose, etc....
Laurent, The first thing that I see is you have a very high and erratic leak rate (vitesse de fulte). I am not a pro at interpreting OSCAR yet, but that might indicate you are having mouth leak during the night when you sleep. That can cause the CPAP therapy to not be as effective as it could be, as...

Re: Keep on waking up every 2 hours, any solutions?
Your zoomed in section above of the flow rate does point to some arousal breathing but it doesn't look like the arousal was related to airway issues. More likely something else is causing spontaneous arousals which means no known cause. Do you take any medications of any kind? Do you drink alcohol ...

Re: Keep on waking up every 2 hours, any solutions?
I’ve had the same problem. Cpap helped my apnea significantly, but still been waking up with a high heart rate and difficulty going back to sleep. I’ve tried everything under the sun short of prescription sleeping medication. For me, meditation in the evenings has helped. I think mine are stress re...

Keep on waking up every 2 hours, any solutions?
Good Morning, I've been on CPAP for about a week now and despite my charts and numbers looking good, I seem to be waking up constantly during REM sleep in the middle of dreams, and having a hell of a time getting back to sleep. Without fail, every day this week I will wake up out of the blue approxi...

Re: CPAP Newbie, Intro and some questions
Thanks for the replies so far, and yes as soon as I get my SD card reader in I will post OSCAR data points to see what is going on. Last night the same thing happened...woke up 90 minutes after falling asleep right in the middle of a dream, and this was the first time I was gasping pretty good and m...

CPAP Newbie, Intro and some questions
Good Evening, My name is Alex and I am a 38 year old Air Force vet and Lockheed Martin engineer, and recently diagnosed with sleep apnea (57.1 AHI :( ). I am surely glad I found this board and look forward to getting my therapy dialed in and hopefully beat this thing. A little history...I had notice...
