So, I was heading to bed and accidentally dropped my mask on the floor while about to put it on.
Would you just use it still? I thought maybe blowing some air through it would blow out any potential dust that might've went inside, but I'm not sure if I should do a full cleaning..

Re: Floating particles/bits in humidifier tank
How long have you been using the machine? Do you know how many run hours it is showing? When's the last time you changed the filter? I don't know exactly how long I've had it for. I think about 2-3 years, or something like that. It has been run for 4141 hours so far. As mentioned, I changed the fil...

Re: Floating particles/bits in humidifier tank
Do you use SoClean or other Ozone cleaner? There have been reports of SoClean breaking down foam rubber within the device which then ends up in the humidifier. Are you using an external room humidifier? Some humidifiers, (sonic) release a white dust into the surrounding environment. Nope, no Ozone ...

Floating particles/bits in humidifier tank
Recently I've started noticing a lot of floaty bits in my humidifier tank whenever I empty it in the morning. I've tried getting a new tank, as well as replacing my mask, hose and filter, but I still keep seeing it every day. I normally use tap water in it, but haven't noticed something like this ev...

Is it necessary to clean new CPAP supplies?
I just received a new mask, hose and water tank, and wanted to switch out all my old gear. However, I got in doubt about whether or not I should clean it all before using it for the first time. Previously I have not done so, but I'm not sure if that's me being careless? All the supplies have been se...

Loose rubber on water tub seal
Hey, I just noticed after cleaning my water tub (for AirSense 10) today, that on the detachable seal, there is a small line of loose rubber lining that started to break off (probably from me cleaning it over time). I tried removing some of the dangly bits myself, but couldn't really get rid of it al...
