I think I'm all set to get the AirCurve 10VAuto bilevel machine tomorrow. I set my pressure on my current one from 9 to 11 and slept through two nights straight without waking up, and it was WONDERFUL!!!
Should I expect any adjustment period transitioning to bilevel? If so, what? How long?

Re: Insurance changed my CPAP equipment (presumably without notifying my doctor)
It's highly unlikely that your "insurance changed the order" except, perhaps, to require the modem for compliance documentation, but even that's dubious. Most insurers pay by HPCP codes, it's the same code (and same reimbursement) for either machine, and they don't care which you get as long as you...

You’re right. I agree, that’s the one for me. Thanks for the comparison chart.

ResMed biPAP machine options???
I just had a BiPAP titration. 12/6 will be my settings. Formerly, I was on 9cm H2O CPAP and used an Airsense10 auto. Is there only one, most current model, ResMed biPAP machine available, or are there more? I want to make the best possible decision. From what I’ve read, Aircurve 10 is the current on...

Re: Battery during power outage- need recommendation
I've got a pretty liberal FSA and already have a letter of medical necessity in place. both machines are AirSense 10s. If what I get only powers one of the machines, hubby will have to fend for himself. :p what if he murders you in your sleep and steals your battery?   I guess he ge...

Re: Battery during power outage- need recommendation
Thanks for the info. I was actually hoping someone would throw out a couple of suggestions of what to buy, like send me a link via private message or something. I’m running out of time to do a lot of research as 12/31 is approaching quickly.

Battery during power outage- need recommendation
Could someone please recommend a backup battery source? Ideally, I’d like for it to support CPAP for 1-2 nights, or 1 night with two CPAP machines simultaneously. Will probably purchase off of Amazon and maybe spend up to around $200. Will need to purchase while it is still 2020 so I can use FSA fun...
