I think it's pretty narrow-minded to avoid talking about any kind of surgical procedure when many surgical procedures can help a person tolerate CPAP therapy a whole lot better. 1 - The internet is more of a cauldron of doom than a place where successful experiences are posted, certainly in terms of...

This forum has a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny arguing problem compared to most forums on ANY subject on the internet. Quite often over zealous forum admins and moderators can cause trouble in forums so I think we should be thankful for our set-up. Also... our subjects are worth arguing about this i...

If you have air pressure running into your nose or mouth it's gonna end up affecting your ears at some point, as I'm sure you all know...the mouth, nose, eyes and ears are all pretty close and interconnected. Some are more sensitive to it than others. I'm not surprised CPAP does this to ears, I'm no...

The oracle would have made me totally compliant if I could stop the nose leaks I have with it. The included nose bungs are not the greatest design for the job, swimming nose clips hurt after a while, I even tried modifying some with no joy. Foam ear plugs distort and get wet as jskinner points out. ...

I slept very well up until around 4 - 6 years ago. I am now a little overweight but I am very fit still. Seems very hard for me to lose weight no matter how hard I exercise whilst eating healthy, however, I'm not gaining weight anymore. Unless something else is happening in my body I'd say OSA is af...

I tried a total face mask, it is the worst mask I have tried and I have tried pretty much every mouth breathing option on the market. the 'one size fits all' idea was a bad idea as it doesn't fit all...thats about the size of it (no puns intended there It smelled awful too I seem to recall, chemical...

I had my sleep study in a hospital the first time which cost the *free* UK health service about $1000, a private sleep study I'm having done at home is costing me $300, Many people think institutionalized sleep studies are a waste of time. Maybe a hotel is a trade off for expense against comfort? Roto
