To be clear they could legally deal with Medicare as long as the doctor isn't involved in prescribing the equipment. Obviously he probably is and that's why it is hidden but the prohibition is just against the prescribing physician or any of his family members having a financial interest in the bus...

Where are you located? In the US it is prohibited for doctors who prescribe cpap to also dispense equipment to Medicare patients. One other thing to note, is depending on your machine, you may have a SD card you can pop into the computer and get much more granular data on OSCAR. Also I agree it really is sad there is a stereotypical sleep apnea patient. Sure certain things can put you more at risk, but you are correct anyone can have it.
