Re: Moved wing in hospital, transported cpap by staff
Hello, thx again 4 all replies. I am "renting" the machine for 10 usd a month. My brother took it to service, they found basically nothing wrong with it, a few minor settings were "wrong" and the tank was scorched due to high heat. They replaced the tank. However i am still not sleeping as i used to...

Re: Moved wing in hospital, transported cpap by staff
Thanks for the replies, u all. In Sweden, if you need extras, you need to bring it yourself. All hospitals I have been at do not provide cpap. Staff is not even trained in assembling the unit, I need to tell them how to do it, eqally nervous each time, they will break something, not softhanded staff...

Re: Anyone had "Humidifier Fever" from their CPAP?
It was the tank for the HACE, I used washingup liquid and a brush. The brush is now unusable as it has some strange yellow substance on it. Rinsed tank several times after. I clean the tank in the CPAP on some irregular basis, mostly when I get a weird taste in my mouth and there are small white fla...

Anyone had "Humidifier Fever" from their CPAP?
Hello All, I am sure this did not come from my CPAP, but my HACE MJS-601. Humidifier fever is caused by mold and bacteria in the tank. For several weeks I have been unable to sleep for more than an hour before the nostral seals. The air humidity has been 20% for a long time and is too dry for the Ai...

Re: What should be my AHI target?
Before I started my treatment, the AHI was 68. On a good night now with my CPAP the result usually is 0.3 with a clean mask, after a week not cleaning the mask its 1.3
