Re: The Microbiome and Sleep...
She kind of turned me off when she said most of the literature on Vitamin D is Flawed. (Truthfully, I skipped part of it). If we are being honest the amount of different opinions on vitamin D are ridiculous. If she has put her method to the test and has found consistent results it sounds like a goo...

Re: Need help with OSA
Not all insomnia issues are related to airway issues. Wish it were because that's relatively easy to fix. I suspect the bulk of your central apneas are more of a symptom of poor sleep quality than the cause of poor sleep....false positives. You can take a crash course in figuring out real vs asleep...

Re: Need help with OSA
I'm not sure why I wake so much. I had this issue for years. Maybe since a child. Got worse when I turned 16. Around the time I experienced my first choking fit. And it's also when my anxiety really got worse.

Re: Need help with OSA
I have a phone appointment on the 25th of this month. My first phone appointment. I have tried sleepers in the past which do a good job of keeping me asleep. I'm thinking of getting a appointment for a shrink to look into my insomnia. I haven't tried the heavening yet. I will look into it more. I do...

Re: Need help with OSA
Hi DmxDex , You'll get a better response if you don't start a new thread for every aspect of your case. I know you say you've had a problem with taking your mask off while asleep because you posted about it yesterday, Friday, March 12, and I replied to that thread. But other people might not know w...

Re: I keep taking CPAP mask off during sleep
Hi - if your min. pressure's at 4 (which most of us find impossible to breathe at and usually raise to e.g. 6-7 to start with) having a 20 min. ramp is pointless as 4 is the default low of the machine... giving you 20 mins. of inadequate therapy. Most of us also stop using the ramp early on altoget...
