changing DME
I did a search for dme changes on the board, but I couldn't get anything specific (I guess dme is too common a term...) I have been with my DME since September, when I began CPAP therapy. I hate the local company I am with. I really want to change companies, but because I am still under the 10 month...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
Hey bleep users: How securely do you find the ports to be attached to the tubing? I gave up after a night or two because I couldn't get a stable connection, but I am starting to wonder if I just have a bum mask. There is no audible click, and a little bit of tugging pulls the mask from the ports. I ...

As usual, Pugsy thanks!
I'll post a separate message tomorrow with a list of available supplies.

Re: Please Help Me Adjust My Set-up
I have found that wearing an eye mask or scarf around my eyes at night helps with the puffiness. I like the weighted nodpod a lot. Finding a mask that doesn't leak also helped. I'm still new to this, but I started troubleshooting eye puffiness fast because I looked so wiped out when I would wake in ...

Masks that didn't fit: what to do with them?
I got return insurance on a number of masks I purchased during my quest to find the right one (Airfit N30i paired with Dreamwear headgear with arms for the win) Now, bc of it, I have a bunch of masks that have been used once or only tried on. The company I purchased them from doesn't want me to send...

Re: Mask Differences -- Finding a New One
Have you tried the AirFit N30i? It's what I settled on after trying a dozen masks. I love that it is a nasal mask but that are no cushions and nothing over the bridge of my nose.

Re: ResMed N30 user review
I'm kind of bummed to find that my N30 is much louder than the other masks I've tried. I was hoping it would be as quiet as the p10, which I was optimistic about before realizing pillow masks just don't work for me. The exhaust vents on the N30 are different from the P10 and are loud with my exhalat...

Re: Tooth sensitivity, mask pressure on top lip and mask fit
Deborah K:. I am learning about the DMEs. It is good to know that I can choose my own. I think a lot of the online suppliers seem more flexible. I've ordered a Bleep to try out and will find out if my current team covers it shiuld it work for me! I also have pretty good insurance, so I'll have to se...

Re: Tooth sensitivity, mask pressure on top lip and mask fit
That;s good to know. Since I am still in the process of figuring out mask stuff, I have been paying out of pocket to try new masks (I only got one replacement via my DME for trial). Once I figure it out, I will contact the DME. Thanks for all the feedback!

KHauser, thanks for the additional recommendation on the Bleep mask!
I think I will try them out. Have you found a way around the high monthly cost? Also, what was the extra product that was recommended?

Tooth sensitivity, mask pressure on top lip and mask fit
I am almost 4 weeks and as many masks into my CPAP treatment. A couple weeks ago, I began to notice severe cold sensitivity in my front top and bottom teeth. A trip to the dentist confirmed nothing was wrong with my teeth, making the likely culprit masks, all of which, so far, give a slight upward t...
