Re: Feeling heartbeat through my mask
Sorry I started a different thread because it was a different subject or so I had thought? Yes, I changed the settings. Thankfully I have a higher pressure and it feels much better than before. This is a new issue so I thought it shouldn't be put in the old thread.

Re: Feeling heartbeat through my mask
Speak with your prescribing doctor about an anti-anxiety medication to take before sleep. You should only need it temporarily as you get used to the mask.
So it's probably an anxiety thing? I was hoping it was something else. Unfortunately I've tried numerous anxiety meds in the pas...

Feeling heartbeat through my mask
I'm having a hard time getting used to my CPAP. I've tried several masks and have finally found a couple that aren't as bad as the others. Infact, at first I'm like okay this feels weird but I can get used to it and get to sleep. Then I start feeling my heartbeat in my mask. Similar to when I wear m...

This is something that has only happened over the last 4 months. I'm switching to a time release in hopes that it'l...

Re: Ramp Up confusion
Thank you everyone for the help so far. I had no idea I could change the settings myself. Hopefully this will help me figure out the pressure I need to fall asleep with the mask on.

Re: Ramp Up confusion
So when it got to 10 while sitting in my recliner it detected an event and that's what triggered it to 10? If that's the case, I wonder if I fall asleep for just a brief minute and didn't realize it. I hate to ask the supplier to keep making adjustments until I find something I'm comfortable with bu...

Ramp Up confusion
I'm new to CPAP and sadly haven't been able to sleep with it. The first time I tried it I actually did so in the day in my recliner. I wanted my mind to get used to the mask and machine and become comfortable with it. During the hour long session the Ramp Up was on Auto and it got up to 10-11. It fe...
