Re: ResMed F30 headgear FIX, YAY!

gv280z, thank you for the tip!
I have the same problem with the top strap of the ResMed F30 - the strap is too short.
I will try the Amara View headgear.

Auto CPAP vs BiPAP with pressure support 0

I got Resmed Aircurve 10VAuto.
1. If I set Vauto mode and pressure support = 0, EPAP=4, IPAP=15, Does it operate exactly like the Auto CPAP (Airsense 10) with pressure range from 4 to 15?
2. Do you think that the 2 machines should operate the same with same pressures range, if centrals occur?

Bipap backup rate pressure

When using bipap with backup rate: 1. Can I set the backup rate pressure to a pressure higher than regular IPAP pressure? 2. If the obstructive events need low pressures, but the central events need high IPAP pressure, does bipap/st has additional IPAP pressure for the T events? 3. Is ASV better for...

BiPAP backup rate setting

I have Resmed BiPAP Aircurve 10 VAuto. The clinicial manual has Backup rate parameter in s mode, but my Resmed has no such parameter. The clinical manual state also: " Note: Not all parameters are available in all regions " Is there a way to enable Backup rate by changing the region? What region wil...

Re: Mask with bigger vent holes

Thank you for your answers! I think the lack of air was because the exhaled air did not got fully out from the vent holes and I started to inhale again. If I increase the pressure it should remove the exhaled CO2 faster, but will make it more difficult to exhale against the incoming air. If I get a ...

Mask with bigger vent holes

I got mild apnea. I tried Prisma Smart CPAP with pressure of 4.5cm and a nose mask, but felt lack of air. I saw posts that recommended to raise the pressure to allow CO2 to clear out. Other option that I can guess that mask with bigger vent holes can do the job. What CPAP mask models have the bigges...
