Thanks to everyone for the comments. I will continue using the humidifier on a setting of 3 as low as I am comfortable. It was kind of an experiment to see if I could do without it but the added noise convinced me otherwise.

I have been on cpap therapy for 2 weeks. I have been using the humidifier and feel that I am adjusting pretty well to therapy. last night I wanted to see how well that I did without the humidifier. Thank you for the encouragement and information. I’m 6 days into therapy now and seem to be waking less during the night. My AHI seems to be easing down. Last night was 8.3 with 5 total obstructive anpeas. 100% mask fit and I am sleeping all night without having to get off CPAP.

New user issues
I am a new CPAP user who is 2 nights into CPAP therapy. I am waking frequently during the night. I feel worse than before I started using CPAP. My AHI was 12.3 and 10.4 and mask fit showed 99 and 100% after my 2 nights using CPAP. Is this normal ?
