Re: APEX ICH APA machine
If you don't have the owners manual, you can download it here: https://www.respshop.com/manuals/iCH+AUTO+Instruction+Manual.pdf Page 8 says you can enter the setting mode by means of the menu button. Once in the setting mode, therapy pressure can be adjusted. Thanks very much for the response. I do...

APEX ICH APA machine
HI everyone, I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with an APEC ich auto cpap machine. I bought one to use as a backup while I get my dreamstation recall issues resolved. My problem is that a pressure of 16 mm H20 works best for my therapy. This machine is set at a minimum pressure of 4 ...

Mask Fit at higher pressures
Hello all, I have a question about mask fit and adjustment. I am using a resmed F20 air touch full face mask and love it for the most part. Thanks to the awesome helpful people on this forum I was able to get my machine pressure adjusted correctly and for the last 6 months it has been a very rare oc...

Re: New here and a little depressed about diagnosis. Doctor did not explain very well....
I am fairly new to this as well. I started therapy back in January. I can tell you for certain that you have come to the right place. The people here are just fantastic. I can also tell you that the concern, depression, or discomfort with having to do cpap went away for me when after the first month...

Re: RERA and Vibratory snore numbers
I believe the restriction on max pressure was due to problems I was previously having with lots of leaks. The mask I was using just couldn't seem to stay sealed at higher pressures. That problem has been resolved, so I don't believe this is currently any reason for the pressure max to stay where it ...

RERA and Vibratory snore numbers
Hello all, I have been making very good progress since I first started getting help from the folks here. As you can see my AHI is below one and has consistently been there for basically the last month or so. For the past couple weeks I have been working on reducing the vibratory snores that my machi...

Re: Large Leak _ Central Apnea question
As I stated in an earlier post, for the past 2-3 weeks things seemed to be trending in the right direction for me. Last night my machine logged the LOWEST AHI that I have had since starting therapy back in January. Thanks again for all of the help.

Re: Large Leak _ Central Apnea question
I just wanted to give an update. Things are going MUCH better now for me. I have a new mask and headgear. I also had a follow up consultation with my Dr. He made some additional changes to my machine. As near as I can tell I have a more constant pressure now. No difference between inhale and exhale ...

Re: Large Leak _ Central Apnea question
Last night was MUCH better. I slept soundly for just over 6 hrs. No garbage awake data to sort through on this one. Still some snores to get under control but this is much better. Thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions.

Re: Large Leak _ Central Apnea question
Thank you, Zonker. I will be sure to use the method you demonstrated in the future. Even better yet maybe I can actually sleep through the night tonight!

Re: Large Leak _ Central Apnea question
I was able to answer my own question from the previous post. Here is the data from the time I first turned my machine on until I woke up to go to the bathroom. The data for the second session after I came back is useless because I was awake for probably over 90% or more of that time. The data before...

Re: Large Leak _ Central Apnea question
On first glance this looks pretty junky. However I am certain that I did not fall alseep before 10PM (22:00) and I woke up to go to the bathroom at 2:45 and aside from possibly some very brief times of dozing, I never got back to sleep before I got out of bed at around 5:45. So the data for the time...

Re: Large Leak _ Central Apnea question
Thanks very much, Pugsy. I will give those suggested changes a try. In regard to those CA's, I found them dubious as well based on nothing more than the way I feel in the morning. My head is perfectly clear of fog and I have more energy than I have had in years. When I first started my therapy back ...

Re: Large Leak _ Central Apnea question
My new mask came yesterday so last night was my first night with it. The data is still messy. Lots of leaks. I will try to get it adjusted better, but I'm thinking I may need to try some different options for a mask. The airfit F20 worked great for a while, but it appears that may no longer be the c...
