Re: Where is the common sense?

Ok, I stopped using my CPAP and just recently, slowly, able to get more sleep. Obviously not very restful according to the movements. I have no idea what SPO2 in sleep should look like. Even when CPAP often my average looks something like this. For someone that has no major health diagnoses (just me...

Re: Where is the common sense?

Long term use of doctor prescribed Klonopin. How much are you taking and at what times of day? We have experience in my family with Klonopin Only .25 X 3 times a day. Evened out throughout the day. trying to prevent highs and lows. In fact I weigh each dose to make sure they are even. It's time at ...

Re: Where is the common sense?

Miss Emerita, 200 BPM, I can not imagine. When I was dehydrated though last week it was at a constant 150 for about 4 hours. I did not feel it though at all and I had no anxiety related to it. Still I understood that it was not a good thing lol. Kauser, I want off that drug badly. But I also want to...

Re: Where is the common sense?

Actually I have a med that makes my SPO2 drop to 83 and stay low. Opiod? Cocaine? Long term use of doctor prescribed Klonopin. Only taken as prescribed, not abused. No drugs in my life at all ever. No alcohol or even soda in the past 8 years. I suspect also I could be dependent on it though going i...

Re: Where is the common sense?

I threw the cpap mask off as soon as I realized my heart was pounding out of my chest. Your O2 levels throughout the night look just fine. We can certainly see the big increase in your pulse rate, but I don't see any precipitating event or any anomaly in your O2 levels that might be related to the ...

Re: Sleepless nights -Muscle Twitches, fatigue and overnight pulse ox question

1102TC, I am sorry you are going through what you are going through! I have been told when I wake up like I do that these are panic attacks too. Heard it many years so I quit thinking about it. All of this will give anyone anxiety. All I want is to be safe breathing at night and to wake up and able...

Re: Where is the common sense?

Thanks everybody so far. According to my machine I have a 100% mask fit. Sometimes a leak is because I adjust it or pull it away. I have another days I can post. But most are horrible looking because things got ugly quick and my sleep erratic. I picked one that had some actual consistent hours of sl...

Re: Where is the common sense?

Cpap is made to keep your airway open better than it stays when not using Cpap... it's not meant to be giving you 'air' but helping the air to pass properly into your system. You're waking up with 'panic' attacks because your body is not letting you breathe well enough to sleep... keeps waking you ...

Re: Sleepless nights -Muscle Twitches, fatigue and overnight pulse ox question

I have a similar story to yours. When they can't find anything wrong they label it as panic attacks and anxiety and give you a benzo for help. I was a workaholic and now I am not functional and on disability. My SPO2 reacts the same way. Relaxed it can drop to the upper 80's and full blown panic att...

Where is the common sense?

I suffer from obstructive sleep apnea and panic disorder. I was treated successfully with an Phillips Dreamstation for a number of years now for the apnea. I did not think much about it, just clean it, change the filers, and use it. I do have a collection of SPO2 monitors not because of my apnea but...
