The printer is just like any other tool, the cost is divided among many other projects, some money-making, some not. Eventually it is depreciated. With filament and power the knob cost me about a buck.

New to the forum, been using a CPAP since 2002, now using a Philips Respironics System One. I call it my dream machine. :) Recently the control knob broke, but I designed a replacement that I can make using my 3D printer. Works great, much cheaper than on eBay. Who knows, maybe I can print my own CP...
