Re: Second visit, sleep is bad lately

Stress or any other physical or mental issue can and will mess with our sleep and it messes with how we feel and it can also cause the AHI to increase as well. An AHI of 2 ish...is far from high enough to worry about and approx 1/2 of that AHI is CA/central apnea events...we can't fix those with mo...

Re: Second visit, sleep is bad lately

Yeah, I had ended up posting to a discord for these issues and they wanted to see a ton of the graphs at once, so they were very scrunched in. Will reset it and I think it'll be better.

Re: Second visit, sleep is bad lately

Okay, thanks. Always hope for a magic bullet to fix stuff, but it makes sense. I appreciate the check. I'll post tonight's logs per your link and see if it shows more. I appreciate it.

Second visit, sleep is bad lately

Hey there. Sleep test 5 years ago showed 70+ events/hour. CPAP helped a bit, but not much. Got nasal obstruction surgery, didn't help much. A year ago you guys helped me fiddle with my pressure and it seemed to help a little. There are rare times when my anxiety is resolved and I sleep like a baby a...

Re: Finding optimal CPAP settings

There is a post that talks about how to format screenshots from it. For instance, I made this post and got some good suggestions on settings: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t179372/1-year-in-same-brainfog-would-appreciate-help.html The software only gives info, and it's up to people to analyse wh...

Re: 1 year in, same brainfog, would appreciate help

Was gonna do an update, but checked the SD slot on my machine and turns out I forgot to put it in for the past 5 days of trying the new settings. Whoops. Will put up some graphs in a few days. I definitely feel better with the higher pressure. No morning headaches. Probably 30% more energy/happiness...

Re: 1 year in, same brainfog, would appreciate help

Hmm, I tried to get a full face mask last time I saw the sleep doc, but the guy talked me out of it. Claimed it can push your jaw back, resulting in even more problems. I should have demanded it, but just wasn't in the mental state to argue properly. My mouth isn't ever dried out, which I thought wo...

Re: 1 year in, same brainfog, would appreciate help

Thanks. I've set the minimum to 11 and EPR up to 2. I'll try that out for a while. I guess I picked up a wrong idea that I wanted the minimum to be lower than what I need, so it wasn't interfering when I didn't need help. I agree Miss Emerita and appreciate the caring. I'd got some self-care issues ...

1 year in, same brainfog, would appreciate help

Hello.  I had years of brainfog that I ignored, got blood tests and physicals that found nothing, finally saw a sleep doc and he found 70+ apnea events.  Got my CPAP and the first night I woke up feeling amazing, like there was a tube of oxygen straight from my nose to my lungs.  That petered out af...
