Re: Dreamstation won't communicate
Op is using App on an Iphone 8 Not only the Iphone by the OP ...... I go through the menus to upload the data manually, and it gives me the "successful" green check mark, but there is no data on Dreammapper (on my phone or online ). [/i] I really don't care for linking up my tablet with BT as it ta...

Re: Dreamstation won't communicate
Dream mapper does not use a cellular modem, it uses Bluetooth. If you use an app for a tablet or phone that you connect to the Dreamstation via BT, yes your DreamMapper app uses BT to collect the data. If you use a computer to connect to the Philips website https://www.mydreammapper.com/Home/Sleep ...

Re: Dreamstation won't communicate
I’ve made those settings in DreamMapper, but apparently something needs to be done I. The system by the provider. Have you called your DME to see if they will register your machine? I'm no expert but Dreammapper works via Bluetooth, not Cellular. I think the people you talked to got confused about ...

Re: Dreamstation won't communicate
This is from the DreamMapper FAQ page (although I can't remember if I did this).. How do I receive data from a modem? DreamMapper works in conjunction with our homecare provider software called EncoreAnywhere. Your homecare provider must make a connection to your current account with your email addr...

Re: A night without CPAP
I haven't tried a whole night without the CPAP, but if when I get up in the morning, take the mask off prior to a bathroom trip, and then head back to bed for a few extra winks, I get a drop in my O2 saturation levels (Wellue O2 ring) that is similar to what I was getting for a whole night prior to ...

Pillows, the Kind You Fluff Up & Put Your Head On
Did a forum search for 'pillows'. Got a lot of hits for 'nasal pillows' and similar  Currently using a pillow with shredded memory foam (typical pillow shape) and wearing a full face mask. Sometimes when I roll over or change position the mask looses seal or just isn't comfortable at times ...

Re: Mask Fit & Other Numbers
I have used OSCAR with this machine to look at details. OSCAR is on another computer which I try to look at later today if I get time and get a screenshot of anything that looks amiss for that date.

Mask Fit & Other Numbers
Not with any regularity I'll occasionally have low mask fit numbers as reported in the DreamMapper software. Philips likes to send an email, "You have a poor mask fit", but on the nights that I do have a 'poor mask fit' either as indicated by DreamMapper or Philips, other numbers that I watch would ...

Re: Dreamstation & DreamMapper
DreamMapper quit working for me totally several days before November 1. Then miraculously on November 1 it started working again with all missing days info. I think there was an update to the DreamMapper web site during this period. I have seen this happen previously. It would be nice however if th...

Dreamstation & DreamMapper
I use the DreamMapper software as a quick daily check most everyday to get basic numbers and OSCAR maybe every couple of weeks to grab a detailed overview. With the DreamMapper the data is posted usually a couple hours after I get up in the morning, but then occasionally it gets off track and may no...

CPAP Settings Full Face vs Nasal - Same?
I was fitted for and have been using a full face F&P Vitera Mask for about 8 months. When I awake in the morning my eyes are puffy and some areas around the eyes seem less sensitive to touch (sort of a numbness). For a good portion of the morning there is what feels like sinus pressure around the ey...

Re: Do you need an RX to switch from mask to nasal pillows?
The recommendation from my 2nd sleep study with CPAP titration report read, "Auto CPAP at a pressure of 8-20cm/H2O with heated humidification using best fitted mask ". I presume this was the wording of the prescript that went to the DME(?). Back in March 2020 the DME RT came to the house to setup up...

Re: Medicare requires that I answer questions before my next shipment
I would NEVER deal with a company who uses Robo Calls, if they can't find a American that can speak English they will never see any money from me. Jim The robo-calls are very clear and English speaking and the only time I've received these calls are for resupply. Very easy to do this way versus oth...

Re: Medicare requires that I answer questions before my next shipment
This link is Medicare's guidelines for replacement supplies dated 2013 (don't know if it's been updated) http://oig.hhs.gov/oei/reports/oei-07-12-00250.pdf I've been getting robo-calls from my DME when supplies are presumably due for replacement. The robo-call essentially asks if the mask or other g...
