Aerophagia? Mk2!

So my other thread got locked, because someone started arguing on it! Anyway I lowered my starting and max as suggested, and it’s been a bit better, but still there. My AHI has remained okay, still below 3 each night, sometimes below 1, and anything in between - same as before. On the first night I ...

Re: Aerophagia?

Thanks all, will give it a go tonight.

I am not sure if it’s worse when I sleep in different positions too.

Since we moved I’ve been sleeping on my back more as the bed now makes side sleeping harder, whereas before I’d probably always sleep on my side for a chunk of the night, not all night though.

Aerophagia?

Hey all! Not been around for a while as I've been busy, moved house and stuff! I thought I'd see if anyone had any suggestions, recently I've had really bad gas/burping - which from reading seems to be aerophagia, I had tried before to lower my max pressure to combat this, but it doesn't seem to hav...

Re: Flow Limitation

I seem to only get central ones when I am awake with it on before falling asleep, like if I clear my nose or something?! I am getting pretty low AHIs normally now. From 0.5-3 max, usually around 1.

Flow Limitation

Hi all, still trying to get my head around flow limitation! Is it good that over time this has gone down?

Re: Graphs for review

To be honest, I am feeling more tired before bed than usual, but I think that's because I'm struggling to stay comfy on my side so I wake up earlier than I have done for ages.

I think when I find a proper side sleeping comfy position I'll sleep longer.

Re: Graphs for review

I just remembered last night I tried a sleep app and turns out it records sounds! Around 3.30 til 3.40 I can hear what sounds like snoring! Which I guess must mean my mouth was open, which I am sure never normally happens, and I guess during that period that air through my nose wouldn't have been r...

Re: Graphs for review

Slept on my side last night, using one of those massive pillows that goes up the back, under the head and down the front - meant I couldn't get comfortable towards the end so woke up properly around 5, although I did nod off for a bit after with no machine. So was good last night, I am not sure what...

Re: Graphs for review

Yeah, the EPR thing makes sense, not sure why I didn't adjust.

Might lower the humidity by 1, as my throat feels a bit like watery and weird.

Re: Graphs for review

AHI was quite a bit higher than usual last night, but still not massive, will persist with the humidity at 6 again tonight, not sure whether to up the min pressure as I didn't change it when upping the EPR.

Re: Graphs for review

That was strange, good old internet haha.

I now have a homemade fleece wrap for it to use while I test higher humidity out too.

you raise your humidifier to a higher setting, then 2, you will need insulated hose or a heated hose.
Sorry, that's not right, I had it at 5 with no issue, and 4 with no issue from October to a few weeks ago.
