Re: Where can I sell my un-used CPAP machine in Canada?
Thank you everyone for the responsiveness! Wish I knew what you've been told by whom - what do you mean by 'region modems'? And an unused machine would be 'new', no? Or has it been sitting unused for a long time for some reason? CPAPLiquidators told me they only accept device purchased in the U.S an...

Where can I sell my un-used CPAP machine in Canada?
Sorry if this post is not appropriate but I cannot find the specific sub-thread for this topic. I have an un-used Airsense 11 that was bought in Canada. To the best of my knowledge, currently all the CPAP sites that buy used machines are all US-based and they cannot buy Canadian machines due to issu...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
So after a few nights with chinstrap + "rooftop tongue" technique, he no longer complained of dry mouth, however he still removed his mask here and there and didn't remember doing it. The leaks were relatively high though, around 24L/min even though he didn't feel a dry mouth/throat anymore. But the...

Re: Mouth leaking vs. mask leaking
Thanks Pugsy and Samurai for your response. Pugsy, can you explain or maybe also with a screenshot just what you are looking for in the flow rate chart . Thanks I believe what she meant was, one way to tell the difference between the two (mouth leaking vs mask leaking) is try to eliminate one for g...

Thanks Hi, I wouldn't consider myself any kind of expert but since I also had the same question l...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
I believe until now my "CPAP quest" has become "elimination of mask leak and mouth breathing" in order to get rid of the whole dry mouth thing. This is his afternoon nap. nap 23 aug.png He woke up still complaining of a dry mouth, particularly the soft palate and the tongue. Air must have been flowi...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
Some of them tried taping up to stop them from subsconsciously removing the mask. Should I do the same to my dad? For what it's worth, he usually get a good straight afternoon nap without removing the mask (usually 1-2 hours, it was 3 hours straight yesterday) but he usually sleeps inclinced for hi...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
Another day, another let down... 21 aug.png Looks to me that the situation won't get any better :( . I don't think the treatment is working for my dad with this kind of habit of removing the mask. I'm really tired!! He said at nights he wanted to go to the bathroom (which, if true, means that the tr...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
Using an unscented baby wipe on the pillows and any skin close by stops itching caused by irritants. Still, some itching simply occurs because we can't get to it. No other reason, except the nerves do what they do. Surprisingly, meditating on that type of itch itself can help. Weird, but it works. ...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
I believe your best bet would be the p10. I tried the p30i, and find the p10 a 100x more secure--especially with the adjusting clips. The "suffocation" feeling comes because the whole thing is so flexible the pillows slip a tiny bit out of place and close up, stopping airflow. The p10 is worth gett...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
So we've been trying the BMC P2 out (FYI, it's a cheaper version of the Airfit P10, you can check out a comparison made here: https://sleepright.com.au/cpap-masks/resmed-airfit-p10-vs-bmc-p2-cpap-mask/. To my surprise, the mask is quite well-made, considering it's made in China). The price for the P...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
Your dad might like the Bleep and not mess with it but people do weird things in their sleep and don't remember doing it. I also have used the P10 and wish you could give it a try. It's a lot less annoying than the P30i IMHO. Initially when looking at possible options that might help my dad, I came...

Re: Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
The Bleep mask would require meticulous face/skin care prep to get the adhesive to stay put and once your dad pulled it off during the night there would be zero chance of sticking the same ports back on and they aren't hard to pull off if a person wants them off even after all the skin prep is done...

Suffocated while side sleeping on P30i
Hello guys. Thanks to the fantastic support I received on my previous thread, I was able to get my dad to use the CPAP. However, for the last couple of months, there's been a little problem. Once again I hope I can find a solution on here. He's using the Autoset 10 and the P30i with a pressure setti...

Re: SD card slot flashing & OSCAR summary only
Unplug the CPAP and restart it. If that doesn't work, reformat the SD Card. If that doesn't work, replace the SD Card. So I restarted the CPAP and waited for about half an hour and the flashing stopped. The last night data was still presented as "Summary only :(" in OSCAR (even though I created new...
