Re: UARS - Looking to buy VAuto w/o Rx

I know while I was on a dreamstation I had to be at 16 cm h2o or above to eliminate most things and had quite a bit of upper airway resistance and got switched to a Resmed Aircurve 10 vauto and it knocked most of those out and lowered my overall pressure needed with EPAP and IPAP and the PS.

Re: Pink Slime in my humidifier chamber

I've never dealt with anything like that myself. Then again I use to use distilled but now I use a zero water pitcher to fill up my tank. Dump it out every morning give it a spritz of a vinegar solution I put in a little spray bottle, let it sit for a bit rinse it out then wipe it down with a microf...

Re: STICKY...can't find distilled water? What can I do?

I am just going to use tap going forward and give it a wash with a 1:1 of white vinegar & water to get any scaling removed once or twice a week cause we have hard water here. There ya go :) Refreshing seeing people read advice given within the topics and give it a go, instead of asking questions, a...

Re: Found my optimal sleeping position (Oscar charts)

Congratulations on reducing snoring! Is this with side sleeping? I went to bed on my side not sure how much of the night was spent that way but I woke up on my back. Saw my sleep Dr yesterday and got a script for Aircurve 10 Vauto so here's hoping that helps with the residual hypopneas and such.

Re: Found my optimal sleeping position (Oscar charts)

I tried the Amara View again and finally seemed to get it adjusted right no leaking at all. Bumped minimum to 16.5 & no more snoring! https://i.postimg.cc/kG8CDSNC/full-night-05-12-2020.png https://i.postimg.cc/xCXnDhcc/first-segment-05-12-2020.png https://i.postimg.cc/m2fRJdRg/second-segement-05-12...

Found my optimal sleeping position (Oscar charts)

Over the past week or more been trying different products to try and help my snoring and overall AHI. At first, it seemed like the Dr. Dakota anti-snoring neck pillow/collar was doing the trick but now not so much. I've mainly been a back sleeper most of my life & so I've been forcing myself to do m...

Re: Giving cpap another shot after some time off (Oscar Screenshots)

Thanks, I'm also trying a new scc that isn't as tight as the first one was. Crossing my fingers it'll work as good or better than the Dr Dakota the Velcro tore off it.

Looks great ! WOW!

try a tennis ball on the back of your PJ top or pocket t shirt on backwards. I cut the ball in half so it doesn't hurt so bad !
As in to keep me from sleeping on my back?

you got it
I'll see if my sister can sew some pouches into the back of my night shirts.

Re: Giving cpap another shot after some time off (Oscar Screenshots)

My machine for some reason didn't record the rest of the week besides last night. I used the F&P Simplus last night and again seemed top have leak issues but still Overall slept well. I will say though I didn't mean to lower my minimum pressure as it seems anything below 16 cm h2o I snore. I ordered...

Re: Giving cpap another shot after some time off (Oscar Screenshots)

Here's hoping my insurance will cover it. Though when I first was diagnosed was last year on my previous jobs insurance. Hopefully they don't want me to do another test or something.

Re: Giving cpap another shot after some time off (Oscar Screenshots)

I thought it was a winner too but not sure anymore after the last night. Way more hypopneas and a 1 or 2 RERAs it seems. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/attachment.php?aid=22541 http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/attachment.php?aid=22542 http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/attachment.php?aid=22544 http:...
