Lol, thanks for your honesty!
(And funny thing, my kids' toilet started smoking too-- I did this during the quarantine and cracked myself up. I like that yours has a nose!).

Is RERA an important indicator of need for CPAP and sleep quality?
Wikipedia says that RERA is : a breathing disorder characterized by obstructive upper airway airflow reduction (which does not meet the criteria of apnea or hypopnea), associated with increased respiratory effort that resolves with the appearance of arousals (RERAs) I had 5 RERA episodes last night....

Is the IPAP MAX where I want to change the settings to above 10? Or the "Auto Max" setting?

Re: Downloaded CPAP info to Oscar, morning migraines & interpretation help
Forgive my 3rd post- I realize I didn't answer your questions: How many hours of real sleep am I getting? Sometimes I will take the mask off and then sleep for about an hour more, otherwise, whatever the machine says is the amount that I am sleeping. Do I wake up often during the night? Yes I do. I'...

Re: Downloaded CPAP info to Oscar, morning migraines & interpretation help
I lied
- 2 more questions:
1. Is it possible to get any information on REM sleep from this data?
2. From the looks of the data I posted, does it look to you like I sleep well? (My gut feeling is that I could have much better quality sleep).

Re: Downloaded CPAP info to Oscar, morning migraines & interpretation help
Thank you so much for responding! I didn't set up the machine, the place that I rented it from did all of the settings. And I'm assuming that it's possible for me to change the settings? If so, I will change it from 10 cm max to a number that you think would be helpful. Soooo, 3 questions: Can I cha...

Downloaded CPAP info to Oscar, morning migraines & interpretation help
Hello All,
I have been on a CPAP machine since Oct 2019 with hopes that morning migraines (I wake up with them 4x a month) would dissipate.
No such luck : (
Any help interpreting this info for any insights (not just regarding migraines) would be SO appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Shallow Breathing
Change the scale on the y-axis to max 900. Then, you should be able to see that the tidal volume drops off at certain times. You should also be able to tell if the level is indicative of shallow breathing. In your current graphs, the scale is too large to determine if the breathing is too shallow. ...

Re: Newbie- How to access the graphs w sleep data that you all post?
I now have a USB 3.0 Card Reader that can hopefully help me download info from my CPAP machine so I can run that through Oscar. And although that sentence may (or may not) sound like I know what I'm doing, I don't. If someone could point me in the right direction or perhaps tell me how to do it (I'l...

Re: Newbie- How to access the graphs w sleep data that you all post?
I have a PC with Windows 64-bit and I have a feeling that doesn't answer your question. I don't think it has an SD card reader, so thanks for the tip on not needing a fancy one. I'll take another look for a reader and buy one from Amazon if I don't see it. (And then I'll download my info and be back...

Re: Newbie- How to access the graphs w sleep data that you all post?
Soooooooooooo I'm at Amazon and there are a whole bunch of different SD Card readers. Who knew. Any suggestions on which one to purchase so I get one that my DreamStation card will actually fit into? And last question (ha ha, who am I kidding), the OSCAR software said to make sure that my SD card is...
