Re: Bleep Mask--Any handy hints for transitioning to Bleep mask from Airfit P10?

This is my first night with Bleep. Wish me sweet dreams! How have your first nights of Bleep gone? Enquiring minds want to know. My first night of Bleep was a failure because I evidently didn't master the attachment of the ports to my face (although they seemed to be attached and positioned well) a...

Thanks for the suggestions and good wishes, chunkyfrog. I think anything that touches the side of the face is likely to be a problem for me, but I took a look at the masks you suggested, just in case.

Thanks for the suggestions. I called my DME and they said they don't stock the Bleep but could order it. Thanks to Pugsy for helping me get one sooner.

Bleep Mask--Any handy hints for transitioning to Bleep mask from Airfit P10?

Bleep mask users. I would appreciate hearing your experiences using the Bleep mask and any suggestions for how to get used to it. I currently use an Airfit P10 nasal pillows mask but the straps are pressing on a broken cheekbone from a fall 3.5 weeks ago. Thanks for any help.

Need recommendation for mask that will not interfere with a broken cheekbone

I fell and broke a cheekbone 3.5 weeks ago. I have a large rock-like swelling in my cheek, close to my eye, that isn't going away and is very painful. My current nasal pillows mask has straps that cross the painful area. Two ENT doctors have told me that the broken bone will heal on its own, but I h...

Re: Using Cpap during a Vertigo attack

I had vertigo when my dr. prescribed an NSAID I wasn't used to, when the NSAID I usually used wasn't available. I think I had a reaction to the new NSAID that caused vertigo. Before I figured that out, when switched back to my old NSAID, I was referred to an audiologist. I didn't have a vertigo epis...

Re: I Have Developed Incredible Sinus Dryness In The last Few Days

Marylander, The sleep clinic at my HMO told me not to use any product that have petroleum. I haven't asked why in detail but I have found a few warnings from medical write ups including Mayo Clinic. It appears you can put Vicks on a tissue outside of the input on the machine but you are never are s...

Re: I Have Developed Incredible Sinus Dryness In The last Few Days

Thanks Marylander, Did you ever used the heated hose? The weather changed but I live in San Diego and my furnance only kicks on in the early morning. As much as it kicks on I wouldn't think that should add add too much to my dryness. I have been running a portable humidifier but not in the bedroom ...

Re: AirSense™ 10 AutoSet turns itself off

My 3 year old AirSense™ 10 AutoSet now for the last 6 days turns itself off once to twice a night while I am sound asleep. I wake up feeling like I am suffocating and pull my mask off. I wait about 30 seconds, put the mask back on and it works fine until it does it again. Anyone know what is wrong?...

Re: I Have Developed Incredible Sinus Dryness In The last Few Days

I have try saline without much relief. I take no medications. The weather has change some here in San Diego lately. I set my furnace to 6...

If you have pets, be careful that they do not get into your products containing xylitol. It can kill them.

Re: Sleepyhead Program

The OP didn't say he deleted it. I KNOW I didn't, and it is gone from my computer. And I don't go on cruise ships. And I just searched my old username and got 14 pages of results. I tried logging in just now using my original user name and password (which was so easy it was not something I would for...

Re: Starting New Heated CPAP Hose in Summer?

I use a heated hose year round. In the summer I turn the hose air temp down as low as it will go and in the winter I turn it up to whatever is comfortable and prevents condensation in the hose or mask. Essentially if you turn the hose down to a temp as low as it will go which I think is around 60is...
