Re: Urgent ResMed filter question
Looks like we're in the same camp of unknown with some sort of fiber like material in the tank.

Re: Ramp Disabled
Looks like, as stated in my first post, there is a ResScan created config file on the SD Card. On the SD Card there should be a directory called Settings with some settings files in it. You can either delete that directory or format the SD Card and it won't bother you again. Thats what's odd though...

Re: Ramp Disabled
Well that's peculiar. After popping the card out with the machine on (which I don't usually do), it's available.
Go figure.

Re: Ramp Disabled
@ChicagoGranny As mentioned I am aware of the clinical menu. I was asking if there was a hidden menu within in it. @Dog Slobber I was hoping that's not l the case (Rescan) but hope it is as you mentioned not written to flash and only the SD but IRRC it didn't come with an SD card. Will try a factory...

Ramp Disabled
I have a secondhand Resmed Airsense 10 Auto (that I fully took apart and cleaned). Contrary to every thread I found about turning Ramp OFF, I cannot turn mine on. It's grayed out. The only alteration I made out of privacy concerns but dont know why that would have an impact was I removed the modem. ...

Re: What the hell is this?
Have you found anything like this elsewhere in the house? The only thing it very vaguely if I imagined hard enough looks remotely familiar to it's Microfiber (I use a Microfiber Blanket but not one with long fibers though these could be bundled) but I don't know how they'd be getting past the filte...

Re: What the hell is this?
Have you been using SoClean (or other Ozone based) cleaner? Ozone is a nasty product and is incompatible with a lot of materials. Others have had the foam disk break down because of SoClean use. Never. Considered one early on but saw how ozone is a bad idea for the equipment. Do you just top up the...

What the hell is this?
Resmed Airsense 10 Auto This is the second time I've found these fibers in my tank. The filter is clean and new. Tank is washed regularly. ONLY Distilled water used. Ive been using this machine for at least 2 or 3 years without issue. I have no idea what this stuff is. It doesn't look like mold or m...

Re: Transferring Oscar data from PC to PC
Defensive much? I was just pointing out that just because you don't know what your doing doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. How do you think people learn to drive? Practice and learning from mistakes. Take it easy, i saw you told the OP how to do it. by AmSleepnBetta » Fri Sep 20, 2019 5:41 am But I...

Re: Tried 5 masks, still cannot get good fit, am I doing anything wrong?
Another thing to remember is that sometimes it does not matter how perfectly you have adjusted the mask while you are sitting up. Once you lie down, your (at least MY) facial contours change, altering (sometimes significantly) the fit of the mask! Be sure to test the fit lying in your usual sleepin...

Re: Double Question: Mask and Pulse Ox
From what I remember (I take a ton of medication to sleep in the first place, so my mind gets foggy) I couldn't inhale or exhale, it felt like something was preventing me from exhaling from my mouth and I simply didn't know how(?) in the moment to breath from my mouth is the best way to describe it ...

Re: Double Question: Mask and Pulse Ox
I doubt any specific answer can be given without reports (IE, OSCAR). Maybe you'll get some answers about gasping for air ... I have not experience with that problem (for which I am happy). 18-20 i my typical pressure setting You're saying you can't adjust it higher, correct? But if 18-20 is not su...

Be nice. What is common to you is new to someone else and applies everywhere in life.Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 3:14 pm
This kind of comes under the category of, if you have to ask how to do it, then maybe you shouldn't be doing it if losing the data is a problem.
