Mask issue with under nose type mask
Since I started on CPAP, I have been using this type of mask: https://www.amazon.com/Simplus-Roll-Fit-Cushion-Size/dp/B07YJ97CCB/ref=sr_1_7?crid=384VY90XPRTGZ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.gK4jwkfHmoG1F_kCHz_uE9E62QiP9f7pG7G1s3KuayX0RL_AE7XCkjoOfKquk-RAMPVjY1N-rQGk0d2DedDMk8ANETN4Me1aG88ba4bSwyPqPAAr5pxEu43PN0yL...

Nose bridge issue with full face mask
I'm using and F&P full mask (medium). I have two of them and use both of them off and on. After six hours of sleep, which is about the most I ever do, it makes a considerable dent in the bridge of my nose. I am using some tape, but it's still pushing too hard on my nose. If I loosen the straps, it t...

Re: Phillips Respironics Pillow Mask Noise
I tried the earplugs, and it was worse, so you nailed it. I've ordered new stuff.

Re: Phillips Respironics Pillow Mask Noise
Ok, thanks. That makes sense. I will try some earplugs and if that doesn't work, I'll just buy new F&P stuff.

Phillips Respironics Pillow Mask Noise
I have used an F&P full face mask for years without problems. As I have a second CPAP machine, I wanted to set it up to use in a different room. I had some Phillips Dreamwear pillow masks on hand, but when I use one, there is considerable noise on exhale. Is this normal?

Re: Airsense10 bad mask fit indicator
Switch the mask, hose, and water chambers between the two machines. Then try it again. Does it follow the equipment? I did this, and once again the backup machine did not show the red frowny face, but when I moved it all back, the first machine did not show the red frowny face either. Problem solve...

Re: Airsense10 bad mask fit indicator
The thing is, the mask fit indicator is saying bad fit from the instant it is turned on and when I am awake. Only one of the two machines does this, so I'm concluding it is a fault with that machine unless someone else has a bette explanation. As I also said, I rely on my oximeter to tell me if I ge...

Re: Airsense10 bad mask fit indicator
I have been using a ResMed Airsense 10 for about two years and have used a full face mask since I started, but I have decided to switch to a nasal mask (just goes over my nose). All of my equipment is ResMed. I changed the mask type to nasal in the setting and I've run the mask fit test and it show...

Re: Airsense10 bad mask fit indicator
A few questions to help figuring out the causation of the leaks… Any chance you could post one or more OSCAR graphs? Maybe one with a full face mask and one with the nasal mask? Which nasal mask specifically? What pressure/EPR settings specifically? Where there leaks reported with the full face mas...

Re: CPAP says high leaks but mask feels fine
You seemed to have no trouble finding it. I figure why clutter up the forum with a duplicate thread, and if they don't want people to use old threads, they should not allow posting to them. And as to my question???

Re: CPAP says high leaks but mask feels fine
I have had a ResMed Airsense 10 for a couple of years. I've been using a full face mask, but I've decided to switch to a nasal mask, I changed the setting on the machine to nasal mask. When I run the mask fit test it says ok, but in use, it always gives the red face for bad mask fit. This is true ev...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 Motor Bench Test
I bought the motor on ebay for $60. It was not a new one. I put it in, and so far no noise. Once you've taken the motor unit out a few times, it becomes quit easy to do.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 Motor Bench Test
Air leaks can be caused by bad seals in the humidifier reservoir or the seals in the machine that interface with the reservoir. Did you try the secondary machine with the primary reservoir? Yes, I did that, and a number of other tests which led me to believe the sound was coming directly from the m...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 Motor Bench Test
I took it apart and put it back together. Couldn't see any obvious problem. Still makes noise. I suspect it's the motor itself now.
