Re: 19 Year Old Diagnosed Months Ago And Struggling A LOT
The struggle is real. I have also encountered issues wearing my CPAP. I stopped wearing it for some time due to the issues I had with it. My main impediment is ever since I got out of the Army I have become claustrophobic, and I find myself needing to take my mask off in the middle of the night in ...

Re: Full face mask leaking Please Help
I do not know if this would work, I do not remember anyone trying it. Unusual problem. How about just taping each corner of your mouth. With micropore paper tape. Something thin. The mask should still seal. Just a thought. If it does not work, back to square one. JPB Feel silly posting this,...

Re: Canadian Online Mask trial supplier
With this virus going around, I doubt anyone will take a mask back. But why the $350 price tag? Is there a shortage of masks, or something? Don't want to defend DME's pricing, and since getting my equipment, I have bought solely online, but the price isn't quite as outrageous as it first seems. Fir...

Re: Full face mask leaking Please Help
I have tried taping and a chinstrap with no luck. it seems when my face muscles relax in that area the mask no longer seals. Have you tried a nasal mask with a chin strap? Then you wouldn't need to maintain a seal on that region of your face. I have been recently using the Resmed P10 pillows. I do ...

Re: Quick AirFit F30i question
I tried the F30 and the F30i. Had the same issue with both. besides a minor leak issue I found that my nose did not correctly line up with the nose holes in the mask. as such it was always partially blocked making breathing difficult. I used the medium size as that is the biggest available and besid...

Re: Canadian Online Mask trial supplier
Call Amazon and ask them... what if we're wrong? But the $350 is nonsense - I and other Canucks have bought masks here for much less, depending on which and on the exchange rate of the day. Oh I agree its terrible pricing. Its just what I have seen in my local stores. Seems like they are making up ...

Full face mask leaking Please Help
Hi Everyone, I have been having issues with every time I roll on my back my Full face mask leaks from near the corners of my mouth (cheek area beside mouth corner actually). I have tried taping and a chinstrap with no luck. it seems when my face muscles relax in that area the mask no longer seals. T...

Re: Canadian Online Mask trial supplier
Why not try calling around to see who says what? I'm not aware of a place that does that, but you might have some close by. I can go with local places, Problem is they all charge $350 per mask, doesn't matter the mask. Im not paying $350 for something I can get for less than 200 online. I see some ...

Canadian Online Mask trial supplier
Hello,
Does anyone know of an online Canadian CPAP Mask supplier that has a trial period? Basically I would like to test a mask but if I don't like it return for another.
Thanks

Re: Chris8243 Therapy Thread
Hi Chris, I had a lot of issues with mask leaking as I am at higher pressures (15-20). The best i found was the Fisher and Paykel Vitera. I get very little leaks and it stays quite stable when tossing and turning. Not sure if this will help you but thought I would share my experiences. Good luck ge...

Re: Difference in AHI...
I have a question for those who typically have great AHI numbers, do you notice a difference in how you feel between say an AHI of 1 or 2 and like 7 or 8? I ask because my numbers are always really bad, typically in the 8-10 range and I am wondering if I would feel better if I could get my AHI Numb...

Re: Newbie
Hello, I am still a newbie as well but thought I would share what I found with masks. I had a similar issue with full face masks hurting my nose bridge. I went through about 10 masks and finally found the Fisher and Paykel Vitera. This is a great Full Face solution solution and did not put the same ...
