Re: Did you get your flu vaccine?
I think all vaccine shots are intramuscular so a theory on rare side effects is the rare case when a vein is hit and the medicine goes straight into the blood rather than in the muscle. A theory I heard and seems logical and very interesting.

Re: Whats causing my sleep maintenance insomnia?
You need to get an in lab sleep study or a PES sleep study that is more for UARS. You sound like you have most of the same issues I have. I have chronic fatigue yet sleep studies and all labs come up negative.

Re: Breathing problems, apneas during the day?
Being more mindful helps with daytime breathing. Has to do with the parasympathetic versus sympathetic system. For most breathing problems people are mouth breathing and taking short, shallow, quicker breaths. You want to train to breathe from your nose at about 6 breaths a minute. So in for 5 secon...

Re: Sinus and eyepain - any ideas?
You might have sinusitis / sinus infection. That can cause pain in cheeks, nose, forehead, eyes and maybe ears. So you can breathe out of your nose just fine? Have you have an allergy test by an immunologist? Any allergies in your house? Check for mold, use a bagged vacuum. Maybe to much or too litt...

Re: Sleep studies negative but having chronic fatigue
I noticed I have no N3 sleep which is deep sleep so no wonder why I feel so tired. Been working on this for 7 years. Going to be trying to get a PES sleep study since I still think I do have sleep apnea, maybe UARS. I thought maybe anxiety or bad sleep hygiene was causing a lack off deep sleep but I...

Re: Sleep studies negative but having chronic fatigue
I guess it isn't sleep apnea. It's just when I wake up in the morning that's when I feel the worst. My eyes are very tired and heavy. I have those eye lines coming down at an angle. My cheeks feel heavy so I thought sinusitis was the culprit but after 2 nasal surgeries my sinuses feel better but I s...

Re: Sleep studies negative but having chronic fatigue
I was tested for lyme and it was negative. I did try SSRIs for a month or two but they had too many side effects. I don't have the main symptom of chronic fatigue syndrome which is Post-exertional malaise.

Sleep studies negative but having chronic fatigue
I started getting fatigue around 2014. I had a in lab sleep study in 2016 and it was normal. My fatigue continued to get worse. I also developed tired heavy eyes. I have been to many doctors. Only things abnormal are my upper GI which I have GERD and Barrett's Esophagus, I also have elevated cortiso...

Anyone have unexplained fatigue yet sleep studies were normal?
Sorry don't have sleep studies to post right now. I did an in lab in 2016 and then at a different lab this year. They both were normal and nothing unusual found. I have had chronic fatigue since 2014 and have been tested for everything. Only thing abnormal is chronic sinusitis and reflux. GERD since...

Re: Whats causing my sleep maintenance insomnia?
I have a lot of the same symptoms. Minimal AHI, around 5 or less on sleep studies yet I have chronic fatigue. I've had everything checked. Full thyroid panel, testosterone panel, full blood panel, autoimmune panel, lyme, allergies, upper endoscopy. I bought my own bipap, new mattress, supplements, e...

Re: Cause of chronic fatigue besides sleep apnea?
Thanks Julie, I've tried pretty much every supplement related to helping with sleep, energy and fatigue. I've tried several probiotics with no improvement in fatigue. Not much GI issues since giving up caffeine. I took the Wellbutrin and Lexapro for a week and got some ED symptoms so stopped the Lex...

Cause of chronic fatigue besides sleep apnea?
I have chronic fatigue. Started 7 years ago. I got an in lab sleep study 6 years ago that showed 0 AHI and 0 RERAs. Been to many doctors and blood work and all normal. Full thyroid, testosterone and even tested for autoimmune diseases. Took a food sensitivity, stool, sibo, and adrenal test. Did have...

Re: what symptoms led you to suspect ????
I wonder what else can lead to chronic fatigue? I got an in lab sleep study when it first started 7 years ago and it showed 0 AHI and no RERAs. I've been tested for everything, been to at least a dozen doctors with no cause. I wonder if my anxiety is causing my chronic fatigue. After a few years of ...
