Re: New Dreamstation or Airsense S10?

I have both, started with a Dreamstation (in my case the Travel on) and very recently the ResMed 10 for Her. I use the same Dreamware full face for both to me it seems the noise moved between the mask (Dreamstation) to the machine ResMed. Although i have the ResMed not long enough definite conclusio...

Re: Event(s) not flagged?

They are only considered apneas if they are 10 seconds or more in duration. The second graph did not last 10 seconds. Yeah; my bad, mis-eyed the 10, it was only 9... Seems most of my differences in Hypo-s are the difference between 8-9 seconds vs 10-14 seconds.... (25 H per night or only ~5 H per n...

Event(s) not flagged?

While trying to understand why my AHI varies day-to-day, i started looking in more detail at the flow rate graph. It looks to me that for a similar flow rate pattern an event is sometimes flagged and sometimes not. See the 2 detail pics below Am I not interpreting the graphs correct, is my machine n...

Re: Needs help choosing the right mask. Adjusting to CPAP.

Samurai I can only relate my experience to you regarding masks. I started with full face mask (Resperonics Dreamwear, see link below). I found that to be working for me right away. HOWEVER in the first couple of minutes it does give the a bit of a claustrophobic feeling. Even the reminder or stateme...

Re: OSCAR pressure graph

Dreamdiver educated me (us) there Resperonics is upping the pressure by 1.5 cm to see if that helps you and if not, then returns to where it was. This is baked into the algorithm. It is also a reason why some folks prefer ResMed over Resperonics. I'm not bothered by it, but can see how people experi...

Re: OSCAR pressure graph

Red is inhale pressure the machine gives
Green is exhale pressure the machine measures

The difference you see between the two is your "Flex" setting. Based on your graph, Flex =2

When you disable Flex, then green and red almost overlap.

Re: CPAP Sanitizer- SoClean 2

Also note (from SoClean's own directions) "The SoClean will inhibit facial oil build-up, but it will not remove the oils" -This means as much as not too much at all. It means regularly washing / rinsing with lukewarm water and (dish) soap is still the way to go... I consider that spending a little b...

Re: waking up to use bathroom

I'm with ChicagoGranny here. I unplug the hose from my mask, no sense waiting a good seal. I also can confirm that bathroom trips reduce or even eliminate. I can now relate my bathroom trips directly to quantity and type of fluid intake before going to bed. Bottom line; i'm in charge of waking up to...

Re: New to Auto CPAP

Your finding is caused by how the machine records the day. It counts from noon on day 1 to noon the next day. I assume you napped from before noon today 'till afternoon today For the machine that is a split over 2 days. OSCAR has a setting to deal with that (under preferences), BUT that has other si...

Re: New Machine - New Settings - Results.

I'm absolutely thrilled with OSCAR. It's better than any professional software for giving data to the user. I like that if I can think of something I want to do, it's probably already been implemented. For instance, if you want to learn about what happened on a specific day when viewing the Overview...

Re: OSCAR v1.1.0 is now Released!!

The file must be very new. Both my Windows 10 security and Norton are warning against installing this. Depending on your config setting on either (Windows or Norton) they will flag/warn any program install. I have an additional security with "SureClick" which extracts and runs the program in a -sma...

Re: OSCAR v1.1.0 is now Released!!

Hi team I found 2 items on the CVS export of data. -The export of detailed data omits the pressure data; i assume that is related to the same known issue of the pressure graph in the UI overview. - The export of session data shows the AHI as 0 for each session (the export of data as 'daily' does sho...

Re: New Machine - New Settings - Results.

So it's been a while on these settings. At the bottom of my image in various tints of red and green are OSCAR's opinions of my settings. My best settings were from the S9, if green means the most successful settings. My worst settings were are for the current AS10 settings, if red means the least s...

Re: Facial Redness

I found the DreamWare (Reperonics) to be great. It does not pressure over the nose, just by design. (see link to my mask below) I use the full face ask, allergies make my nose useless several months of the year; although the filter in my CPAP seems to do a good job in keeping some of it out.... Anyw...

Increase minimum pressure?

Hi all, I've been at my APAP for about 2 months now. I used to wake up several times a night; now much better, maybe 2 or 3 including b-break (my sleep study botch = here http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=179037) A typical day for me, before I increased minimum (to 6) looked like this: screens...
