Re: OSCAR v1.1.0 is now Released!!
All my AHI numbers for the last 40+ days are now higher than they were with the previous version of Oscar.I thought I was doing so well....... Also, I had one day a few weeks ago that my AHI was genuinely "0.0" and now it shows like there's no data for that day.....I want my '0.0" day back! I quit o...

Re: 42 days of APAP, need assessment
Thanks Pugsy for the informative reply! I’m a side sleeper, I do toss and turn a lot while I sleep. My shoulders, low back and neck are all painful and I’m always changing position to relieve the pain. When looking at my flow rate chart, a large portion of the time it seems like I take a deep breath...

42 days of APAP, need assessment
I started APAP therapy on March 02 2020, my original pressure prescribed from the doc was 6 cm H20 low/15 cm H20 high. My next appointment with my doc won't be until May 29th so I used his initial prescribed settings for 30 days and then I bumped the low pressure up to 11.2 through a series of small...

Re: Picking up my first APAP tomorrow
how did you sleep? do you remember any wake ups? finally, no need to change this graph, but next time eliminate the snore graph. it's not needed and removing it will allow you to enlarge the other graphs to make them easier to read. good luck! I was tossing and turning last night and did wake up nu...

Re: Picking up my first APAP tomorrow
Well I think I did it correctly?! First day with my APAP was spent familiarizing myself with the features, adjustments, preferences etc. I spent about 2 hours with the mask/APAP on while watching TV and fiddling with the fit and trying to see if I would be able to sleep on my side with this mask. I ...

Re: Picking up my first APAP tomorrow
Do it yourself. Compliance is just for your hours of use per day. The details will depend on your insurance company (or licensing board, e.g., for truck drivers), but 4 hours minimum per night for 70% of your nights is common. If you decide to ease into night-time use, you might want to explain tha...

Re: Picking up my first APAP tomorrow
I guarantee you if a 4 is too low, you'll not wait to raise the pressure. Be sure you know how to raise the pressure before you go to bed. You get the info from the clinical manual. you can download the clinical manual here. Sheriff Thanks Sheriff Buford, I’ve been doing my research for the past 2 ...

Re: Picking up my first APAP tomorrow
All sounds good. You can keep using Breath-Rite or not; why not experiment with both -- can't hurt! I can understand your concern about your O2 levels. You might want to give yourself a week or two to settle in with PAP therapy and see what your Oscar data look like. I suspect it'll be easier then ...

Re: Picking up my first APAP tomorrow
Welcome, and congratulations on being ready to go with a great machine, a great piece of software, and a great community to help you! I think one key to long-term success is to give yourself a little time to get used to the novel experience of sleeping with a machine and mask. So I would recommend ...

Picking up my first APAP tomorrow
As a result of an “at home” sleep study (Respiratory Index/29, lowest SPO2/67%, Bradycardia indicated), I will be picking up my first ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet W/Heated hose/humidifier chamber, mask of choice (side sleeper/nose breather, toss and turn a lot). I ordered a Hurricane dryer so my stuff...
