Can someone tell me what is the normal tidal volume range range? I don't normally follow it.

Re: How long does Brevida cushion last?
I use the Dreamware FF mask and have been getting 3 months per cushion. If I didn't have a replacement, I could probably go longer.

Re: Return old Dreamstation?
I only personally know two people who have received replacement machines. Both got the new Dreamstation 2. I haven't kept track on this forum, but it seemed most were also getting the new machine, not the refurbished old one. If they are sending both out, I'd be curious to see how they determine who...

Re: Return old Dreamstation?
Thanks for the replies. When I registered, they asked me if it was critical to my health to have CPAP. I have 2 friends who really, really need it badly and it is definitely critical to their health. I don't put myself in that category and I told them so. So, I assume I'll be one of the last to get o...

Return old Dreamstation?
I had a Dreamstation 1 for 5 years. I was uncomfortable waiting until Philips got around to sending me a replacement(still hasn't happened). I bought a Resmed Airsense 10 on my own and began using it. I read about someone who was scared about using her Dreamstaion with the foam still in it, so I rem...

Re: Raw nose...
Powerhands, I used the dreamware nasal mask before switching to the Dreamware FF mask. I really liked the comfort of the nasal mask, but I could only use it for 2 weeks before my nose got sore. I switched to the Dreamware FF mask over a year ago. The FF is just about as comfortable for me, and the s...

Re: Wellue CheckMe O2 Max vs O2Ring: Anyone use both?
Since there is a question about the accuracy of these devices, I just put the ring on one finger, and what was labeled as a hospital grade pulse oximeter on the same finger on my other hand, and both gave exactly the same result, 98 O2, 54 pulse. I then did it with my watch and got the same 98 O2 re...

Re: Wellue CheckMe O2 Max vs O2Ring: Anyone use both?
I use the Wellue ring and I also have a pulse oximeter. They both give virtually the exact same readings every time I check them. I also have a watch the measures SPO2 and it is very, very close also.

Re: Waking up due to leaks; What ff mask to try next?
A few points that may help. 1. How old is the cushion that you are using. 2.Have you checked the overview page in Oscar for leaks. The bar graph is excellent to bring out trends in leaks, which are more important than an individual night. 3, Have you been making small adjustments to the tightness of...

Re: Is ViHealth working? Any other methods to get O2 Ring data? & other questions about O2 Ring.
I've used the ring for a year and a half and I would say it has been flawless. Likewise, I have had no problem with the software.I don't know if the battery can be DIY replaced, but so far my battery is fine. I charge it for 2 hours every morning after a nights usage and that is more than enough cha...

Re: Anyone used CPAP while fighting Covid?
Why would it be harder? I didn't say it would be harder, I said it would seem like it would be hard to continue CPAP. I have seasonal allergies to deal with and it mostly works out. But when I sneeze into a full face mask, that's just the beginning. Then the nose stars running, then it gets hard to ...

Anyone used CPAP while fighting Covid?
Just wondering if anyone has experience of dealing with CPAP and Covid at the same time.I haven't had it yet, but since it's so prevalent, it's a consideration to think about. It would seem like it would be hard to continue CPAP, but I could see where it might help. I'm not talking about the hospita...

Re: Lowering AHI numbers with beetroot capsules
Dog, Maybe my analogy wasn’t clear enough. I am getting used to waking up after a better nights sleep than I’ve had in years and seeing 0.0 AHI on the machine. I do feel like I’m hitting grand slams and I see no reason to change my swing. This experiment, if you will, had nothing to do with CPAP and ...

Re: Lowering AHI numbers with beetroot capsules
Dog, I'll try this one last time and maybe you can get it through thick skull. I am emphatically not claiming beet root is the reason I have great improvement in my CPAP success. I saw immediate improvement when I started using Resmed. I have posted here before that on the third day I used the Resme...
