I'll give those another try, although when I originally tried them I felt like the blockage was too far in my nasal passage to make any different.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 7:34 amGet some Breathe Right strips.

Re: I keep waking up ~1hr after falling asleep, any tips? indications from these OSCAR charts?
Sleep cycles generally last about 90 minutes. We all 'wake' between sleep cycles...most of the time the 'wake state' is quite short and we have no recollection. When I started CPAP I had recollection of waking between cycles 2,3 and 4. A year and a half later I generally have recollection of waking...

your machine does not record any events. Have you been tested ? or how do you know you have apnea problems ? I had a very basic take home test in which I slept horribly for a few hours and from that the doctors said it wasn't apnea and would not talk to me further. I can feel my nasal passages narr...

I had somewhat of a similar ordeal so I can relate. However, I think you're giving up too easily. Waiting a week to try again is far too long. Try again that same night or at the latest the next night. You need to keep at it. Some of us take a long time to get used to cpap and/or wearing a mask. Yo...

I keep waking up ~1hr after falling asleep, any tips? indications from these OSCAR charts?
Hello, I've been struggling to adjust to apap for a year now trying to treat possible UARS, I go through waves for motivation of trying to adjust then get frustrated that I can't stay asleep and then try again a week later. My problem is that for the life of me i can't stay asleep longer than 1 hour...

Re: Help pricing used APAP Machines
Make sure you smell the machine, both running and not running. Don't just smell for cigarette smoke, but also look for smells that might be masking unpleasant doors. Sounds good! just picked up an autoset 10 off ebay, ~1400hrs for about $250 including shipping (possibly seemed like a good price...m...

Re: Help pricing used APAP Machines
Thanks everyone for the replies very helpful! So it sounds like 1-2k hrs is a good range (6 months * 30 days * 8hrs/day == 1440hrs) and pricing is ~$300-500. or ~$620 or less for open box or with coupons. I'll PM LSAT and see what he has. Also, thanks harrywr2 for pointing out the smoke smell, I wil...

Help pricing used APAP Machines
Hello! I'm in the market for an APAP machine, I don't have a clear frame of reference as far as pricing and don't want to get ripped off. I've been doing some research on what to look for but not sure about some details like what is considered "low hours". Any red flags to look for when looking at u...
