Re: what else can I do???
You are doing good. When you do not understand something, keep on asking us. You may regret saying that! Haha! I feel like I am doing better only in that every few days I don’t have the dyspnea and maybe one out of 10 days I don’t feel so exhausted that I want to lay down all day and sleep. Honestl...

Re: what else can I do???
This is so helpful! Thank you! Regarding the pressure, is the goal to have the red and the green lines at the same level? I'm not quite clear on what the optimum picture would be for pressure. I saw a screenshot somewhere on this board where this person's red and green lines were merged and I though...

Re: what else can I do???
I think that I just don’t understand the graphs and what they are saying and what I should be doing in relation. I guess the main goal is to get AHI’s down to as low as possible. What part of the graph correlates to less AHI’s? The pressure? Is the goal to get the pressure as level as possible? I’ve...

Re: what else can I do???
Hiya! I got my results from my pulmonary tests back and they are normal. Yay! So, still no answer as to why I have dyspnea. The last couple of days have been better. Maybe due to the increased pressure? But I'm still feeling dreadfully tired all day. I'm posting screen shots of the last three nights...

Re: what else can I do???
Wow! Thanks so much for the responses and links! I have an appointment next week for pulmonary lab tests. After that, but I'm not sure when yet, I'll be seeing a pulmonologist. I still have the dyspnea but the fatigue has improved a little over the last couple days. Nowhere near where I feel it shou...

Re: what else can I do???
I will make an appoint today to see my GP to get a referral to see a pulmonologist. My husband said my breathing was at about 2.5 times the rate of his ( that was at one point during the night when he was awake). My pressure settings were set at 20/9 for the second night. I have the dyspnea all day ...

Re: what else can I do???
Thank you, Pugsy. I do have more events during REM. Is there a reason to not crank it up high? You said you get by with a lower pressure setting. Is there a harmful effect to cranking it up?

Re: what else can I do???
Okay, so last night I set the min pressure to 9 and the max to 20. I'm not as dead-to-the-world as I was yesterday, but still tired and having dyspnea. I'm sure these changes take a few days (weeks? months?) to adjust to. But please tell me what I should be looking for on the pressure graph. I've se...

Re: what else can I do???
[/quote] Yup, and formatting the chart the right way gives us all we need in almost all cases, and it's a single, easy to do screenshot for you. You really didn't do it the way the other user requested, if you go back and look. Anyway, please follow that how to page, and you'll make it easier for us...

Re: what else can I do???
That last chart is pretty much useless. Please reference the 'how to' before posting another one. http://cpaptalk.com/wiki/index.php/Oscar:organize Sorry. I posted three charts in the first post per the “how to” instructions. The last chart is per another user’s request. I’m a newbie to this and I’...

Re: what else can I do???
Thank you, everyone! I'm so miserable, and all of these quick responses have given me a little hope! I am attaching the screenshot again of my data, per Miss Emerita's instructions. I really hope increasing my pressure helps. Also, I've added my machine/mask info. I've been worried that I have some ...

what else can I do???
]I've been using the CPAP for over a year with a 3 month break and I feel horrible. So, so tired and foggy-headed with dyspnea every day (heart is fine-- I've had it thoroughly checked). I have made adjustments in the pressure and the humidity. The machine says I am a rock-star -- I'm using it for 7...
