I don't know if losing weight will make CPAP go away. I weigh 128 lbs, and have moderate sleep apnea. I did get welts on my face when my mask was brand new, I don't get welts anymore, but it still leaves marks, that fade through the day. I usually put some face cream on before before putting my mask...

Thanks for the tips. I've using my CPAP machine for over 2 years and thought the flatulence issue was just a new part of life. I started doing abdminal crunch exercises in the morning to relieve the gas/air and it's helping my stomach as well?
