Re: OSCAR v1.1.0 is now Released!!
When I first updated Oscar, the pressure was wrong, but the there was no data doubling. However, when I checked the next day to see the previous nights data on the sd card, that is when the doubling occurred. When closing and then reopening Oscar is when everything showed correctly, and has stayed o...

Re: OSCAR v1.1.0 is now Released!!
Any idea what is going on? Look at the charts below. they are both from the same night (see date), but have different data. My AHI's have all doubled from my previous charts all the way back to the beginning??? The pressure settings in the first chart are flagged as "guessed." That happens when the...

Re: OT: Quarantine supplies
I have always been kind of a prepper being snowed in for a week once without enough supplies so I started stocking a few extras to last a week or so. However, when China announced the Corona Virus, I saw this coming to our shores and started accumulating extra staples. Not panic buying, just some ex...

At my DME memory foam masks are the most popular.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2020 6:43 amIf you go to cpap.com and sort ResMed's FFMs by popularity, you will see that the memory foam masks are not popular.charlesrshell wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 5:59 pmI wonder why ResMed doesn’t offer memory foam cushions for their newer mask!

Re: DME forced to send me an SD card! HA!
When I got my last machine 6 months ago, the DME opened the box while I was there. There was no SD card included. She gave me one just for asking. I had the same experience - new machine without an sd card included, and was given one for the asking. BTW/ the card is Resmed branded so Resmed does su...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 teardown
That is one awesome video! There is a third pressure sensor cone color black that fits to a white silicon receptacle between the blue motor silicone sleeve and the white silicon humidifier gasket where the humidifier fits in. This connection allows the sensor to take measurements through the grey t...

Re: Just got my new AirFit F30i
Before you spend for a completely new mask, you really should try the Air Touch F20 that fits the frame you already have. A med. cushion is $27 on Amazon. Mine is at almost 2 months, and it still looks like new. This is really a great mask that solves leaking, and comfort issues very well. I would l...

Re: Which CPAP Wipes?
I too use the Airtouch F20 mask with the delicate memory foam. I use baby wipes on my mask every day, but ONLY the ones without Aloe or any type of Alcohol . I cut them in half with scissors as i don't need a full size wipe for this job. I clean the whole mask, and frame with the wipe, but I very ge...

The easily removable air outlet is in the same humidified air path as the tub, and hose. Routine cleaning of the air outlet falls in the same category of cleaning the tub and hose, it's just common sense. The process is shown in the clinical manual, page 20.

Re: Unsure about CPAP
It's not as major a lifestyle change as you think. It does take some time sorting out the correct pressures, and finding a mask that works for you. That may take a month or more. The everyday fatigue may take a lot longer to correct. In my case, also a mouth breather, I had several immediate positiv...

Re: Best inexpensive FFM that does not leak at bridge of nose?
Air Touch F20 is probably what you need. It's memory foam fills all gaps easily. I don't see any significant leaks, and I roll around a lot where the mask gets mashed against the pillow, but stays leak free.

I have had the opposite experience with heartburn. I have suffered from Gerd (heartburn) for years. I have been taking dozens of antacids per day, including all night long for quite awhile. Also, I have prescription Famotidine which has helped some. However, within 3 days of starting CPAP therapy, m...
