Just FYI, I tried to turn off that message over here but people said it wasn't worth it to even think about it.

Re: Replacing parts on Air sense 11
Everyone stole my thunder. They stole my thunder also, where I find the hoses last years (I only clean them once every few months in a re-used 5-gallon Costco laundry bucket of soapy bleach). After a few years, the hoses develop pinpoint leaks at the end that connects to the machine (a rotating elb...

Do you use a mask which has an INTEGRATED output-air diffuser (with no stupidly unnecessary diffuser clip to fall off)?
Do you use a mask which has an INTEGRATED output-air diffuser (with no stupid diffuser clip to fall off)? In a recent thread , I was kindly informed that the stupid flimsy cheap filtered-clip that keeps falling off my poorly designed F&P Eson 2 is a "diffuser" which cuts down on the output noise. I ...

Re: Does your CPAP nasal mask have this often-lost separate filter clip (is it even needed) (what does it really do)?
The diffuser helps a lot of people a lot with a reduction in vented air noise. I appreciate you defending the design as I have no doubt it's there for a reason. My main complaint it that it constantly falls off - which defeats its purposes. Hence, in my opinion, it's a flimsy design. Nonetheless, c...

Thanks for looking that up for the team.
I noticed my ResMed also has the no MR so this is probably pretty standard stuff.
Thanks. Much appreciated your kind assistance.

Re: new innovations
I only went through the Philips recall process last week, but since August 9th is the final deadline, I would like to ask if the OP asked for BOTH a. The new machine from Philips ( mine was refurbished ), and, b. The $150/$250/$350 from Angeion $55.63 Device Payment Award (just for giving Angeion yo...

And its role it to diffuse the air coming out of the machine You can try sleeping without it, and no, athletic tape won't do. Thanks for that information as I thought it was an input filter and so I didn't realize it was an output filter. Why they filter output air is beyond my current comprehensio...

Re: I just received a Philips Respironics Recall Replacement DreamStation: What does Recertified Device mean?
"Rectified Device" means that Philips Respironics certifies that they corrected the recall issue. Of course, you have to trust them. Just to be clear, that's technically right but there's more to the story. I found out later that it's a used machine that has had the blower (and air passages) replac...

Where do you buy these plastic inserts & elbows for the machine end of the normal 15mm air hoses?
Where do you buy these plastic straights & elbows for the machine end of the normal 15mm air hoses?\ It's good to have more than one, where you can pack one in your travel machine, for example. Is there a local non-medical supply (like Amazon, Home Depot or Ace or Lowes, for example)? Those straight...

Does your CPAP nasal mask have this often-lost separate filter clip (is it even needed) (what does it really do)?
Does your CPAP nasal mask have this often-lost separate filter clip? 1. Is the F&P Eson2 nasal mask clip even needed (as I keep losing them)? 2. What happens if you use the mask without it? 3. Can the clip be bought separately (probably not)? 4. If not, do you think breathable athletic tape can suff...

Re: I just received a Philips Respironics Recall Replacement DreamStation: What does Recertified Device mean?
the device can not be used where there is a presence of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. That makes sense. Thanks. I found out what "Recertified Device" means. It means it's a used machine! https://www.philips.ca/healthcare/e/sleep/communications/src-update/news/replacement-device-safety-information htt...
