Re: DreamWear FFM Life Expectancy

May I ask what your cleaning routine is? I take a hot bath 5 to 7 times per week and brush and floss my teeth two or three times per day.   You are hands down my new favorite internet stranger!!! The cushion gets washed in warm water and Dawn dishwashing liquid once per week. Since ...

I have a Dreamwear FFM that has lasted a very long time. But, this will vary among individual users.
May I ask what your cleaning routine is? I've read here that can impact the silicone :shrugs:

Re: New here, Cpap hasnt helped much yet

CPAP will only help you get more quality of sleep when you use it while sleeping ... which can help exhaustion induced depression/anxiety, however it sounds like your MH issues are a separate issue from your sleep apnea. Are you working on treating your anxiety/depression/adhd beyond just using the ...

Re: Anxiety and Sleep Apnea

I have GAD too. I can say that while using the CPAP does not treat my anxiety issues...it definitely has treated my constant exhaustion which in turn makes my anxiety more manageable. Like a PP said, if you are on any medications that effect sleep you may also need to work with your doctor to adjust...

Re: Do you think CPAP would be beneficial with lower AHI/RDI?

My AHI was also low ... but when I did my sleep study the Hypopneas area was like a barcode there were so many events. I started using a CPAP and the instant change was amazing! One month in my AHI still fluctuates between 2-5 on average with the CPAP but I no longer spend the entire day fighting th...

Re: Question on the myAir app

I show 100% fit with my FFM on my phone app for 28/30 days I've been using my CPAP ... I did like @pugsy said and manually leaked it a few time and was able to get 99% on the app twice. When I went for my one month check the office was able to pull far more detail to see that there was some leaking ...

Re: CPAPvengers Assemble!

If it's "wicked loud", then it may be defective, take it back and have them check it, though the humidifier does act as a bit of a muffler. To be fair ... I listen to TV at a volume of 5 max in the evening because its too loud otherwise so I may be more sensitive to it. That being said, I will defi...

If I have to get up during the night, I disconnect the hose from the machine and wrap the hose around my neck. The mask stays on.
I am now imagining channeling my inner Brittany

and with such a reasonable cost point definitely worth trying! Thanks!

Re: Recommend FFM

My impression is I like the Dreamwear better for ergonomics but the F30 seals better for me. I’m a total newb but I can definitely vouch for the ergonomic/mobility factor of the dreamwear ffm. I move a lot in my sleep and it’s stayed on great in all positions (sometimes I do have to make minor adju...

DreamWear FFM Life Expectancy

ETA: DreamWear FFM Life Expectancy Trying to keep all my newbie posts in a single thread ... still looking for advice on 1 & 2 below but also wondering: What is the life expectancy of the DreamWear full face mask? I've stopped washing it every day about 2 weeks in (and felt guilty af about it until ...
