Tank question
Hello everyone,
I have an Aircurve 10 BiPap machine. Recently my supply company has been sending me water tanks with round bottoms instead of square. Are the round bottoms compatible with my machine? I wouldn’t think it would make good connection on the heating plate. Thanks for any help!!

Re: UPDATE 3/10/22 ResMed AirCurve V Auto wheezing
Good morning, My DME brought me a "loaner" machine Monday since mine was slowly dying. She said the motor was going out. I was told that I could use this machine for another year until Medicare would cover the cost of a new one. She said since the warranty was out on my old machine, they would not f...

Re: ResMed AirCurve V Auto wheezing
Yes, I did clean the water tank and I checked the gasket as well. Thank you though!

Re: ResMed AirCurve V Auto wheezing
Thanks Pugsy! I will be making some calls for sure. Now that I think about it, I think it hasn't been heating correctly for a couple of months. I thought it was my Climate Line hose but I replaced that and I am still getting dried out horribly even with a good mask seal. I have been checking some we...

Re: ResMed AirCurve V Auto wheezing
I would like to use my insurance. I am on Medicare with Humana as my supplemental. My understanding is they won't replace it unless it's 5 years old or older. If need be, I can buy one out of pocket, but I would like to avoid that if possible.

Re: ResMed AirCurve V Auto wheezing
Which settings would you like? My Ipap is 24 and Epap is 14, I haven't changed any other settings since I have got it other than to switch out of S mode. Just let me know and I will take pictures of the settings for you.

Re: ResMed AirCurve V Auto wheezing
Okay, I checked everything you asked. I didn't see anything when I opened the filter door and looked in there. Cleaned off the filter door. I ran it without a filter and it still wheezes. Thank you for helping!

Update and couple of questions.
Hi everyone, I have had my bipap machine since December 2018. Last night after changing the filter it has started making a wheezing noise when I inhale. When I put my ear to the machine it sounds like it is coming from the end where the filter is. I replaced that new filter with another, pulled out ...

Re: Can I get some help with snore graph?
Thank you! I do feel pretty good in the mornings other than waking up with a headache each day which gets worse as the day goes on, but at least I can actually stay awake now a whole day without napping! LOL

Can I get some help with snore graph?
Hi everyone, I have been working on tweaking my settings to achieve good sleep and I am slowing getting it there. I have been noticing that I am snoring quite a bit (or what I think is quite a bit) and I'm not sure why. I have been having fantastic AHI's usually under 1 and sometimes 0 for the past ...

Re: Feeling tired with minimal AHI
How's your blood pressure? Any change in dosage of your meds? Are you aware that fatigue is a known side effect to your carvedilol med? How long have you been on the pantoprazole? It can mess with magnesium levels which might make fatigue worse when taken longer than 3 months. Are you waking up mor...

Feeling tired with minimal AHI
Hi everyone, The last three days or so I have been feeling absolutely crappy. During the day, my heart feels as if it's going to pound out of my chest, even though my heart rate hasn't been over 85, and I feel very fatigued. I am not falling asleep but have no energy to do anything. I feel like I ne...

Re: Edit again- Sleep doctor visit
I had my first visit with the sleep doctor yesterday. The only good thing that came out of it was he ordered an echo and a stress test to check my heart, which I’m happy about because I’ve been wondering if it’s damaged from going so long without treatment. Other than that, all he basically said was...

Re: Edit- Can someone help with OSCAR data?
Thanks Pugsy! I have also been waking up with my bottom lip folded over towards my teeth and very dried out. It’s like my lip is stuck against itself. Not sure how to explain it. I have my humidity set at 5 but since using the Dreamwear mask I seem more dried out than before. I also have a sore on t...
