Re: ResMed Air Sense 10 won't power up
I had the same issue happen last night. We also had a rare power interruption at the house late yesterday afternoon, and only for a few seconds. I went to bed, the unit was totally dead. I checked all the connections unplugged it plugged it back in, etc... . Nothing. I grabbed a different power supp...

Re: Newbie having problems
Is it possible that the cracking you hear is the valve opening/closing on your connector piece to the mask? Took me a little while to figure it out too. I hear mine from time to time and its definately audible.

Re: ResMed Warranty update Re: Ozone
What is odd is that the device provider in the video is so sure that So Clean hasnt caused damage in the ResMed units theyve sold they are willing to warranty them regardless of the change in ResMed’s policy.

Re: Question on the myAir app
It now seems that the responders were in fact correct, and you've changed your description from absolutely no leak , to leakage drops to basically zero . Guess what? Absolutely no leak is not the same as basically zero . education, how does it work? Apparently, all too often, it doesn't. sadly so. ...

Re: Question on the myAir app
Thank you, jsmit86. This is getting closer to addressing my original question. I wasnt asking anyone to analyze data, just if they had seen anything similar with leak rates on the different masks. I am seeing very similar data with the myAir app and with Oscar, that being (for me) the amount of air ...

Re: Question on the myAir app
Geez, what is it with so many people being pricks on these threads? I simply asked if anyone else has seen this or if they have thoughts why that could happen? I wasnt asking if anyone thought myAir was lame, or to analyze my sleep data. This is an anamoly. I get it, some dont like the myAir app. Pu...

Re: Nasal pillow mask and side sleepers
I’m new at this myself (about 6 weeks) and started out using the nasal mask (not pillows). I found the nasal mask to be difficult for leaks as a side sleeper. I’ve just started experimenting with a full face mask and while its still early, for me that seems to be better.

Re: Question on the myAir app
I am using the last version of sleepyhead. Im traveling for a couple days w/o my laptop or I would be more specific on the version. I’ve only been using the full face mask for less than a week. I have not created an alternate profile. The graph that shows the leak rate registers at 0.0 L/min on the ...

Re: Question on the myAir app
Yes, I changed the mask type in the machine settings before I used the full face mask. To be clear, the issue isnt that the air leak has dropped (which would be great), its that there is no measurement at all. My question is why??? I have the sleepyhead software and could try oscar as well, but for ...

Question on the myAir app
I’m about 6 weeks in to CPAP therapy. After a discussion with my dr I have been experimenting with a full face mask. That part is going ok, but the myAir app does not seem to measure ANY air leak measurement at all when I wear the full mask. I’ve changed the mask type setting in the options too. The...

Re: What is a good seal/leak rate?
Thanks. Yeah the air leaking does wake me up occasionally. I know the mouth breathing isnt helping either. Overall I guess its not going too bad yet I still feel like it should be better.

What is a good seal/leak rate?
Hi, I’m 26 nights into starting CPAP therapy. My question is on what is a good seal/leak rate. I am using an Airsense 10 autoset, with an N20 nasal mask. The “My Air” app & report says that my average leak rate per night is 20.4 L/min. The individual nightly rates run from under 10 to almost 30 L/mi...

CPAP Newbie just checking in
Hey everyone! New guy here. Been on CPAP for 3 weeks. No struggle wearing the N20 nasal mask but still dialing in the dry mouth & air leak. Fiddling with chinstraps & humidity now. Still, overall its not bad. No real questions as I’m still searching through the new user posts and search tool (I stil...
