Re: Is this bad?
inhale looks about the same.. exhale looks smoother with bilevel. did this effect your amount of centrals or overall sleep quality though? For a period of time, I did experience increased centrals with the higher PS. But at a certain point they just went away. I now regularly have an AHI below 0.5,...

Re: Is this bad?
Yes. Effectively, EPR (and PS) allows you to tolerate higher inspiratory pressure. I did want to add a bit to my response to geert's question. When they do the bilevel titration, they first raise the EPAP until they eliminate obstructions. They then raise the IPAP until they eliminate hyponeas and ...

Yes, of course I’d be interested to learn all that I can and find out other’s experiences. When did I ask for a drug recommendation? i've done a lot of research on congestion given that iv had it for a long time. have you had your sinuses checked? is there pressure around your nose in the mor...

Re: FAQ thread..work in progress...need some input
I think this might be really helpful, but I also worry that it will allow the forum to grow Nazis who will be nasty to any newbie who doesn't check the FAQ's first. I think one of the strengths of this group is we let newbies come and ask the same questions over and over again, so that they get ind...

Re: Buying used CPAP Dreamstation auto worth the risk?
Thanks again everyone for your help. I greatly appreciate it. my personal experience is that the flex function on the dream station SUCKS. it feels like it tries to lead your breaths and ended up screwing up my breathing cycle. many people have said that EPR from ResMed is smoother. You can see, in...

Re: Upper Airway Anatomy and Sleep Apena
Conducive was definitely the word I was looking for haha. Thank you all for the replies. I’m going to look into the nasal spray Dymista to see if that will help me. Yesterday was the appointment with the ENT who said I have the above mentioned issues. There’s another thread on here with my cpap jou...

Re: UARS & CPAP

I used a nose strip to open my nose, and i think this really helped me fall asleep. congestion was also good. ahi i still around 3 but il leave that for now. flow graph looks much better imo, which makes me think nasal congestion is what was...

Re: New (UARS) -- lots of questions

I'm working off of subjective symptoms for now. i remember school with sleep problems. stay up all night stud...
