Good job, Iron Lung Man. It seems this site is filled with empty people that can't grasp reality. SSRIs all around.

Re: Yet Another Attempt
The AI advice has a lot more experience than you do, and that's why I asked it. Bye. Same from me. ditto. LOL. "Not recommended". Try some objectivity and rational thinking for a change instead of emotions. People post statistics from an application called Oscar, from machines that record...statist...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
This is a fun forum. Please shut down this debate. why? dogslobber is making valid points. this is in no way a "debate" as dabee isn't making any points. Then you need to read the thread. Plenty of points. "Not recommended" isn't a point. I asked him to back it up and he is just full of rambling. N...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
I'm claustrophobic. I use the N-20 mask. it gives me a clear field of vision. a short hose in the front rather than coming of the head and magnetic straps so that I can rip it off if I need too. I've tried many masks and so far that is the only one that I really tolerate. a hanger clip on my headbo...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
At 3:55 it rose from about 7, to 9.8 in a couple minutes. And then it never returned below 7.5, how can you dispute that? You're just dishonest. And your ignorance about how these devices work is once again demonstrated with how you incorrectly applied the AI advice. You said, "And it said that low...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
You don't have a clue. Your pressure, absolutely rose quicly and then never returned to 6, or even close tyo it. You got your CPAP knowlege from AI and your machine sitting in a closet for years. You constantly misinterpret what others say, and then create strawmen to defend your misinterpretations...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
6-12 and 4-20 are pretty much the same thing compared to the 8cm I was told to use/try. And you still haven't explained why either of those is discouraged. Discouraged by whom? And why? Huh, so you're claiming that 4-20 is pretty much the same as a min pressure of 8. absolutely not. A minimum of 4 ...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
UPDATE: AI recommended dropping the pressures (I was on APAP) to 6-12. Following the advice of AI for CPAP settings, absolutely has to be discouraged. To set it back to the default pressure? Tell me why it's discouraged. It's been working pretty well so far. And yes, I will be bringing it up with m...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
Well here is what I got, for what it's worth. The second one is this morning. UPDATE: AI recommended dropping the pressures (I was on APAP) to 6-12. I did that earlier and had a morning sleep for over 5 hours. Just over API 2. That looks very promising. The card was not in the machine so I'll post w...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
What I hoped would come along soon was a chart showing some actual sleep. I'm a little skeptical that you were actually asleep right before the end of the 11-minute snippet. At any rate, right before the end I don't see anything in the graphs that could explain the sudden onset of anxiety/claustrop...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
I wouldn't go that far. Having a regular night with cpap was rare if ever experienced. But only recently have these attempts stopped due to this feeling of anxiety and panic. I usually take it off and go back to sleep if I can, or I stay up like I am now at 11:35 pm. My sleep schedule has no structu...

Re: Yet Another Attempt
Part 2 - Recommendations: First step: At this point, you should try to get used to breathing with the CPAP when you're awake and relaxed - even seated - and ignore all the charts produced during that "training period" since wake breathing is not something the machine identifies. ... Ya I did this y...
