Re: Using Medical-grade Adhesive On A Leaky Mask

I might also mention - this glue, when you pull your mask off in the morning, is still a bit sticky. My 8 yr old dog sleeps at the foot of my bed every night. The first time I used this glue, I bent to give her a hug and a kiss then went into the kitchen to start coffee. When I finally drifted into ...

Re: Using Medical-grade Adhesive On A Leaky Mask

You guys are wonderful! If this glue helps even one of you, I will feel "useful". :D I answered a couple of the individual comments. Will that make my answer visible to all? The name of this roll-on water based glue is called, "IT STAYS". I bought mine from compressionsales.com. It is advertised for...

Re: Using Medical-grade Adhesive On A Leaky Mask

What worked for me was adding an anti-leak strap. Pad-a-Cheek makes one for my F20 but nor for the quattro air I had before. That said, I modified an existing strap so that it would work with the Quattro Air (without blocking the vent holes). I am interested to know what specific product you used i...

Re: Using Medical-grade Adhesive On A Leaky Mask

Mask liners were what made my ffm tolerable. Indeed! There will always be leaks, but a mask liner controls moisture, muffles rude noises, and feels cozy. At very high pressure, I was getting leak-alerts when I tried to use those mask liners. But yes - they are very comfy! Just didn't work at 20.

Using Medical-grade Adhesive On A Leaky Mask

I have been on a CPAP machine for over 20 years. My machine maxes out the pressure every night. ( 20 ) A dozen times all night long this thing blows out the seal on my mask. The fluttering on my face wakes me up over and over and OVER! My RT has tried a dozen different masks on me. At the pressure o...
