Re: Cpap mask question
Thank you so much for the reply. I value your input and can others on here agree? I feel like replacing the small plastic piece is not necessary and the only real items that could need replacing would be a hose and a mask cushion. Both of which are WAY cheaper than buying a new mask. Again apologies...

Cpap mask question
Hi!!! So a few quick questions for you. I have a resend airsense 10 with an f30 cpap mask and absolutely love it. I am only 2 months into therapy and it’s changing my life. Now I am in between insurance companies and was wondering how often people ACTUALLY replace their equipment. The manual states ...

Re: Cpap noob question
Thank you all for the replies! I think the only thing I would replace would be the cushion. The actual mask frame is just a piece of plastic and isn’t constantly touching my face like the actual cushion. Glad to see a variety of answers

Re: Airsense 10 cleaning question
I hang my hose in the living room and just ordered a second hose today. For those that do clean your hoses how often do you suggest? Reading the manual is one thing but since this device is so popular I figured I’d ask the experts here
thanks again for all your help.

Airsense 10 question
So I know I have been posting tons of questions but I found this forum the other day and I’m absolutely loving the feedback I have received. One more question in regards to the humidifier in my airsense 10. It has lines on it showing the max amount of water and then 2 other lines. Since I have been ...

Re: Cpap noob question
I like that time line of 1-2 years can others here agree with that? What would the timeline on replacing the elbow attachment from my hose to the mask?
I plan on frequently replacing the hose and the mask cushion and I’m finding if I just replace these pieces it can be a lot cheaper.

Re: Airsense 10 cleaning question
So the only disadvantage of running it hours after cleaning a hose would be sound? I can get an extra hose for $30 but if it’s just a little bit of noise for part of a night I can deal with that. I figured it’s fine to run a hose with a tiny bit of moisture left because with a humidifier the hose ha...

Re: Cpap noob question
Also I should state that I plan on replacing the cushion and hose frequently and mainly wondering if that tiny frame piece of plastic needs to be replaced often. If I can go without replacing that piece I can replace everything for about $80. I can’t find the frame piece by itself and most places ch...

Re: Airsense 10 cleaning question
Is there any danger or damage that can be done if I run the hose with a tiny bit of water still in it? I wash the cpap hose in the morning and usually wait about 12 hours before use. I’ll check out that device as well

Re: Airsense 10 cleaning question
I figured it was just the extra moisture because after I wake up in the night to use the bathroom it’s back to sounding like normal. Super excited I’m on a cpap as It’s changing my life in so many ways. At first it was daunting and scary but now it’s my best friend

Airsense 10 cleaning question
Hi noob cpap user here. I have an airsense 10 auto set with heated hose and f30 full face mask. I absolutely love the machine but noticed a small issue that only occurs on the night I clean my equipment per week. I hang the hose up to dry and when I go to use the cpap on the first night of cleaning ...

Re: Drooling question
Yes I use a heated hose. What is rain out I havent heard before. I think it is drool because even before the cpap therapy I would drool. I will try taping my mouth shut and see if that helps. As far as in the night is it fine to use a paper towel to dry the inside of the mask? Just wondering if usin...

Drooling question
Hi so I’m a few weeks into my first cpap therapy. I have begun drooling at night and I’m wondering if I can use paper towels to dry the inside of my mask in the middle of the night. If not can I just use a towel or something? Looking for advice as I have had to dry my mask at least twice a night.
