I feel like replacing the small plastic piece is not necessary and the only real items that could need replacing would be a hose and a mask cushion. Thank you all for the replies! I think the only thing I would replace would be the cushion. The actual mask frame is just a piece of plastic and isn’t constantly touching my face like the actual cushion. Glad to see a variety of answers

Is there any danger or damage that can be done if I run the hose with a tiny bit of water still in it? I wash the cpap hose in the morning and usually wait about 12 hours before use. I’ll check out that device as well

Yes I use a heated hose. What is rain out I havent heard before. I think it is drool because even before the cpap therapy I would drool. I will try taping my mouth shut and see if that helps. Hi so I’m a few weeks into my first cpap therapy. I have begun drooling at night and I’m wondering if I can use paper towels to dry the inside of my mask in the middle of the night. If not can I just use a towel or something? Looking for advice as I have had to dry my mask at least twice a night.
