Switching to Mask when sick
I have been on Auto Cpap for just short of 5 years always using nasal pillows. Any time I've had a cold with nasal or sinus congestion, I am forced to not use cpap. Question is, does anybody ever switch to a face mask when they have upper respiratory infections??? My sleep is terrible if I don't use...

Re: 2 months in...
I am a fan of nasal pillows, but I have never used anything else. In fact my ResMed P10 head gear is all I've ever used. Comfort is just never an issue for me with the P10. When I turn over I'm just used to managing the hose I guess. Keep at it and good luck.

Good Machine, same that I use. Just remember to always use distilled water in the chamber. I have a friend that always used tap and it killed his machine. I've got 12,000 hours on my machine and never a problem.

Re: Nasal Pillow Question...
Used a P10 for my sleep study titration 5 years ago, liked it then and have used it ever since. As the head piece age's it tends to stretch out and have a looser fit and though it seems to leak more that isn't reflected in my machines numbers. I usually use the large pillows but I am able to use the...

Re: Airsense One w/ SoClean help
One suit has to do with a breach of contract on distribution rights. The other suit was filed by 3B the maker of the Lumin system that uses infrared light to sterilize CPAP. The same light that sterilizes most of your food before shipment, and IV solutions before shipment to hospitals. 3B wants mark...

Re: SoClean?
Of course Julie, sometimes I don't use it for a couple of days, and I have never taken it to European trips. Most people don't use it, I am not addicted to Ozone sanitation, but for me it is convenient. Ozone has been used in sterile processing areas of hospitals for many years, as well as other met...

Re: Airsense One w/ SoClean help
SoClean O3 has not degraded mine in 5 years, nor does it or has it degraded my nasal pillows over 30 days...For the life of me, I don't know where this stuff comes from. If it works for this gentleman, let it be, keep it.

Yeah that machine can and does make strange noises if the humidifier top seal doesn't seat right. Just fiddle with it. You will love that machine. I'm picking up my second next week...Good Luck.

Re: SoClean?
I too have been using Soclean for 5 years, Love it!! I've got the ResMed Airsence 10 Auto, with heated hose and humidification. I am a retired Operating Room RN, and Critical care nurse as well. SoClean is a great product and does a great job. There is a lot of misinformation in this thread. There a...
