Re: Knightsbridge CPAP chinstra
I have trouble keeping it from sliding over my eyes. The tabs that partially cover my ears hurt too. Maybe I need a smaller one but I ordered by measuring my head. It works well until it slides forward, than my mouth opens. I am using the supreme chin strap now. I got it on Amazon for $8.99. I had t...

Re: I need a travel cpap
I never even saw my prescription let alone received a copy. I never saw my sleep lab report either. My Dr. Kept it all very hush, hush.

Re: I need a travel cpap
Thanks all. I've asked my primary care Dr. To write me a prescription. She has no idea how to write one for a cpap. She is trying to get my script out of the sleep Dr. That dropped me because I didn't appreciate what he did for me.

I need a travel cpap
Does anyone have a travel size cpap for sale? I no longer have a prescription so I can't buy a new one. My husband and I sometimes camp without power. I haven't found a battery for my Dream station that will last a whole night so I'm looking at smaller machines.

Re: Stomach issues with cpap
I change the pressure on my Dreamstation by holding down the ramp button and pushing ing the dial on the front at the same time. Hold them down for about 60 seconds and it will change to therapy screen. There are other adjustments you can make in there also.

Re: My sleep Dr. Dropped me
Hi DH,
Yes there are other sleep clinics in NM! I live in Roswell and it is a 6 hour round trip drive to any of them. It isn't practical for me to do that. Thanks though.

Cpap with oxygen
Hi all, I have an oxygen concentrator feeding into my cpap. When I get up at night for potty time, I leave everything on and just unhook the hose from my mask. I was told not to turn off the cpap until after turning off my O2. If I wake up enough, to turn off both machines, I am awake for the night ...

Re: New Member - Struggling With CPAP
I didn't know I had sleep apnea until I was forced to go to a cardiologist. My tricuspid valve is leaking. He told me only 3 things can damage this heart valve, birth defect, Phen Phen diet drug and SLEEP APNEA. I tested at 72 AHI and o2 say of 70. I still fight with my mask, but I want to live. It ...

My sleep Dr. Dropped me
Hi all. I just need to vent. I just went to my appt. at my sleep clinic and was told the Dr. won't see me anymore because I don't appreciate him. They didn't even call me to save me the trip. Last visit my husband and I asked if the Dr. should be monitoring my treatment. Every time I go in, he just ...

Re: Pros and cons of supplemental O2?
I am using oxygen with my cpap. I have a large and cumbersome concentrator. My apneas were 70 and my O2 was 70. After cpap and oxygen for a year, I am apnea free. Oxygen has cleared my brain fog and content tiredness. I too travel and I haul my cpap and concentrator everywhere I go. I can't function...

Adjusting my machine
Hi all, I hear everyone talking about turning their machine up or down, adjust inhale and exhale. How? My sleep Dr. Controls eveything. He has never shown me a graph of discussed what he is doing. I go in and he says uh ha, uh ha. I am turning your pressure up or down. That's it. It is all done thro...

Re: F20 nor Amara View working - what to choose?
I used the Amara View for over a year. I toss and turn all night and am a side sleeper. I switched to a Dreamwear nasal mask a few months ago. I love it! No hard plastic to dig in and leaks are minimal. I have to use a C collar too, I am a mouth breather. I ordered the Dreamwear kit from Amazon. The...
