waking up in the middle of the night
Hello to all, I am frustrated. I have been using my CPAP machine for at least 8 months now. Recently, I have been waking up in the middle of the night and NOT able to fall back to sleep. Not sure if its stress, or apartment becoming warm in the middle of the night, or not going to be late enough.......

Re: Best pillow
Bed pillow preferences have been discussed a lot in the past here on the forum. Unfortunately the forum search function makes it a bit difficult to sort them out. The final verdict though....bed pillow preferences are widely varied and come with a big YMMV sticker. You can do a more targeted search...

Best pillow
I was recently curious to know if people with cpcap machines use a certain type of pillow. I see a lot of info regarding nasal pillows but I don't think that applies to me. Any insight anyone could help me with in ordering one would be greatly appreciated. I am also going to check to see if my insur...

Re: Is it time for a new mask 5 months in?
You are showing the AirTouch F20 in your profile....that's the FFM that uses the memory foam cushion and if that is indeed the mask you are using and you are still using the original memory foam cushion then yes....time for at least a new cushion. The frame part of the mask will last forever with c...

Is it time for a new mask 5 months in?
I have been using my cpap machine now for 5 months. Usually Im getting a good night sleep even with my automatic wake up at 3 in the morning. Im still feeling fresh through the day but as of late, I've noticed that my mask may have some areas where air is coming in and disrupting my sleep. Im waking...

Still water
Why does the cpap machine require still water? Could I use chilled instead?

Becoming awake by 3:30-4AM
Hello, For the second night in a row I have gone to bed around 10:30-10:45 in the evening, then for some reason I awake at between 3 and 4 in the morning. Re: Life with CPAP
Thank you very much.
I also have another question. I read that there is an alternative to using cpap which is a mouthpiece which dentists can provide. Is there any validity to using this as an alternative to using the cpap machine?
