Re: Knocked my machine off the night table twice this past week
Just back from a 3 week trip to China. It was awesome! All my planning worked! My luggage with the 7-500ml bottles filled with distilled water was 45lbs, under the 50 limit. By the end of the trip my bag was under 40, not much to buy there. I didn't want to use their tap water, even in the 5 star ho...

Re: Knocked my machine off the night table twice this past week
Last night I placed my machine in the night stand drawer which is a wee bit lower than head height. It worked great! Problem solved I think, with a simple obvious solution. Thanks to all for your advice, someone had a picture using their drawer, so kudos for that! Now I'm off for a 3 week overseas t...

Re: Knocked my machine off the night table twice this past week
jani7, i put my machine on the floor and use a six foot hose. works for me but then i'm not a restless sleeper. Unfortunately I am a restless sleeper. I had it on the floor the first night, but then the wife made me move it up onto the night table's shelf, because it made the room look cluttered......

Didn't know this existed.squid13 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 10:33 amI've used this hose management system for 8 years and it has served me quite well with no problems. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/HoseBu ... ion-System
Definitely looks like a good idea.
Thank you!

Re: Knocked my machine off the night table twice this past week
I pulled my machine of the bedside table, once. I've since stuck four rubber feet on the bottom of my machine, hasn't moved an inch. Also worth noting, Since changing from a P10 nasal mask to a top mounted P30i, I no longer get wrapped in my hose and have a lot of hose to spare. Rubber feet sounds ...

Re: Knocked my machine off the night table twice this past week
Consider some sort of hose management system so that you can't wrap yourself up in the hose so easily. You can make your own or buy a ready made hose management system. You can find some ideas here http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=10640 Wow! There are some great ideas here! I really like the...

Knocked my machine off the night table twice this past week
So, after 4 months of easily adapting to using a cpap machine, this past week I've knocked the machine off my night table onto myself (it's on a shelf a little above head height) waking me. I do turn side to side occasionally during the night, but twice now I guess I've wrapped the hose around mysel...

So, a week of increasing the EPR from 2 to 3. Haven't noticed a difference, can't really see a change in my most recent graphs, but it's all good I guess. Feel better than I used to.

Can you tell me what EPR does?Miss Emerita wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 4:34 pmGlad your fine-tuning is working for you. Later on, if you want to try another tweak, you could set EPR to 3 and see whether that increased your comfort and/or decreased your FLs. But you’re doing great just as you are!
Are my FL's not good?

Re: New member, 3 months in, please review my data
Out of curiosity what is your AHI untreated? I can only pray for numbers so low. My initial sleep test back in the spring had me at 39 for AHI. My wife said I snored a lot and then got silent (stopped breathing?) Now she says she doesn't hear a peep from me. Anyways, I do feel a lot better than pre...

Re: Follow-up Sleep Study
Thanks for all the support everyone! It's reassuring to read that I wasn't the dumb stubborn one. My Resmed 10 and Oscar provides all the detailed info I (and the Dr need). As long as my results are good, I don't feel a need to accept another "follow-up" sleep test. After all, I think about the only...

Follow-up Sleep Study
I started using my cpap in early June, so last night I had a 3 month sleep study follow up using my own mask and hose. The following is a partial transcript of my discussion with the technician while hooking me up to all the wires: Tech: So I see your prescription was for pressure of 4 - 9, how is i...

Re: P10 Nasal Pillows versus Dreamwear Nasal Gel Pillows
I love my N20 nasal mask, but my backup favourite is the P30i. The hose being at the top isn't a big deal for me because I sleep on my side with my bottom arm outstretched under my pillow, which gets tangled with the hose. Don't have that problem with the hose coming from the mask. Regardless, the p...

I'm not sure how to adjust the order of graphs so Flow Limitations appears in the snapshot You can click and drag the different graphs around. Also you can turn off unneeded graphs and let the flow limitation graph move up into the viewing area. See the arrow at bottom of the lower right of the gra...
