Re: New Mask Question
read about strap under the chin posted by a user on another forum and he called it a woozie ( I think ) . showed it to my wife and she kinda simplified it . still working really well if you don't mind messing with another strap . for me my head movement against pillow caused my mask to move ( leaks...

Re: Mask prescription
At my annual appt with my pulmonologist/sleep doc, I always ask for a paper scrip for cpap mask of my choice. Just in case. I had occasion to use it this week and uploaded it to the purchase site for an entire new mask. However, they said it takes a while to verify the prescription, so they would b...

Re: Mask prescription
Your doctor doesn't quite understand how things work with online buying. Complete mask packages come with a big Rx symbol on them which means a prescription is indeed required to purchase them. Replacement parts don't require a Rx. Obviously no one in their right mind would go buying a cpap mask un...

Mask prescription
My sleep doctor told me yesterday I did not need a script to purchase a new mask online since the mask isn't the therapy the sleep machine is. Today I went to cpap.com and they require a script for a mask, why would they care that I spend money on a mask obviously I have a sleep machine or I wouldn'...

Re: DreamWear mask cleaning
Hope this is still active post! I just now took my Full Face dream wear mask and noticed this white film in the head gear at the top part where your hose connects to the mask on both sides. I use distilled water in my humidifier and wash it every time I use it and hang it up to dry. What is this fil...

Re: Airfit F30
I just got the F30 yesterday. I loved the cushion under the nose, but the medium mouth cover seems to be too small for me. Maybe it's normal, but I can feel the edges of the cushion just inside the corners of my mouth and it drives me nuts. Also the whole thing just seemed to be like a clamp keepin...

New Mask Question
Hi everyone I just got fitted for my 3rd full face mask in 2 months. I started with dream wear full face mask and hated this mask it was too close to my mouth and went to the Simplus which I liked alot but the leaking around my eyes was a deal breaker and now the AirFit F30 and still I'm having issu...

Re: Why
The mask should ride LIGHTLY on the face, where air pressure fills the mask; and the mask rests gently on the skin. If you need to tighten it down, it is the wrong size/wrong mask. I don't feel as if it's too tight I don't have facial marks should I loosen the mask once it's filled with air? I'm a ...

Re: Why
Hi, Its really numb not dry since water doesn't correct it and it takes a bit for the numbness to actually subside once I remove the mask....it feels just like your your foot does when it falls asleep. I can't figure it out other then my mask is pushing on a nerve around my mouth if that's possible.

Why
Can anyone please tell me why my tongue, gums and surrounding area go numb while using the Cpap and how to fix it? I loosen the mask but that hasn't helped at all and I don't get any sort of numbness when Im sleeping without the machine. Update: I was wearing the Simplus but had to stop due to air le...
