If women couldn't use the non-For Her devices. And the For Her devices were discontinued, then effectively women wouldn't have CPAP solutions.

I think that's pretty compelling evidence that women don't *have* to use For Her devices.

WHAT!? 😏

Re: Can a Woman Use ResMed Air Sense 10??

Of course, there's no such thing as male and female CPAP's. For some reason, ResMed decided to market the "For Her" model for women because it was prettier, and the algorithms were supposedly "better" for women, but many men liked those algorithms too, and most women (including me) can use the regu...

Re: Can a Woman Use ResMed Air Sense 10??

The AirSense 11 model AutoSet machine has the "for Her" mode included as standard offering. It has 1...fixed cpap mode 2...regular auto adjusting mode 3...the special for her auto adjusting mode. So if you really want or need the "for Her" mode and you can't find the AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her mod...

Re: ADVICE FOR NEW PROVIDER

I don’t have Medicare Advantage. Just an insurance provider and Medicare. I would like to buy one outright but it seems I need to provide a supplier a prescription. Don’t know why. More bureaucratic red tape. :

Need a prescription?

Am looking to purchase a ResMed Air Sense 10 as a backup to my Air Sense For Her. I am using a DME for machine replacement (when it dies) and for all supplies. They handle the Medicare reimbursement. Cpap internet suppliers want a prescription for me to buy a cpap machine. Why? Sounds crazy. I don’t...

Can a Woman Use ResMed Air Sense 10??

I am reading that the RM Air Sense 10 For Her is discontinued! Can a woman use the black (Men’s???) ResMed Air Sense 10? They are still available.

Re: ADVICE FOR NEW PROVIDER

Thanks for your thoughts. You’re a Chicago native it seems. I was born and raised in Chgo back in the 40s and 50s. Wonderful city then. Low crime due to a tough mayor; he actually cared about the city and its reputation. Daley wasn’t perfect, but the city was clean and mostly safe. I remember being ...

Re: ResMed Air Sense 10 Air Blowing Cold

Well! Thanks to all here as this is clarifies what I experienced. The air blowing out of the my cpap hose was probably around 68 degrees as we have our heat set down cooler for better sleeping. I increased the water in the humidifier tank and the effect was comfortable once more. Nothing wrong with ...

ADVICE FOR NEW PROVIDER

Am looking for a different cpap machine provider and a place for supplies. I am wondering about internet cpap machine providers and if they work through Medicare like my present supplier. I started thinking about this when my I ran into a problem with my cpap machine this morning and posted about it...

CANNOT READ ANY OF THE TOPICS!

I don’t know what happened, but I cannot open any of the topics on the Home Page! I was able to a minute ago, but now I tap to open and nothing happens. I notice that around the text there are red highlights. How can I fix this??

ResMed Air Sense 10 Air Blowing Cold

Awoke this morning at usual time with air blowing cold and nasal passages feeling very irritated. I noticed that the humidifier water tub was empty, used up. My question is does this machine sense water is gone and shut off the heat for the water tub? Or does the air just blow a lot colder without w...
