Re: Just got my new AirFit F30i
Awesome! I am so happy for you. I highly recommend to anyone struggling with their current FF mask to give the F30i a try. I know that mask cushion itself is a little different than the F30, but do the F30 and F30i have the same design in how it sits on the nose? I'm struggling to find a full face ...

Not really what? That's quite vague.

Re: Are Bilevel ST Machines Safe?
Right, I get that, but obviously the ASV is much more than auto bipap with backup. It's smarter and smoother. The ST in my experience had terrible inhale/exhale transition and vice versa.

Re: Are Bilevel ST Machines Safe?
Wonder why they don't have ST with auto Bipap? I think it was the high pressure support and the fixed epap/ipap that just never worked for me.

Re: Are Bilevel ST Machines Safe?
Yes, the ST is safe. For the most part it works like a standard Bipap but with a backup rate (BPM - breaths per minute) setting to help induce a breath when you are not doing so on your own.

Re: Just got my new AirFit F30i
Have you tried the AirTouch f20 cushion? Fits the same frame as the AirFit, but is soft foam, and at least for me, it needs less tension from the headset to work while not leaking. I have not. I'd prefer not to get into a mask that needs replaced montly. Some on this site say it doesn't even make i...

Re: DREAMST St 30 issue
The BPM setting is why you are on a ST though. To trigger breaths when you don’t breathe on your own. I didn’t much care for how the ST works and didn’t care much for 10 bpm. I lowered it to 8 and it was better, but I never felt like that machine was anywhere close to anything that felt like natural...

Re: Just got my new AirFit F30i
I’m trying the F30 and I just can’t get used to the higher pressure feel of this style. Feel the same as nasal pillows do to me. Assuming this mask would be the same. I tried the AirFit F20 before that. Worked great for achieving low AHI, but like you the bridge of my nose after 2 days as very sore....

Re: Whole House Humidification - Rainout
I now see if you crank hose temp to the max it changes to auto. I don’t remember ever changing it so I’m thinking it has been 81 since I got it, but I could have changed it y accident too.

Re: Whole House Humidification - Rainout
Come to think of it how would it ever drain back to humidifier tank on Resmed? I don’t know how it could.
I’m not sure how soaked the hose is. Mostly water in mask issue.

Re: Whole House Humidification - Rainout
Putting it lower than my head is easier said than done. I have nowhere to set it unless I put something in front of the night stand and block the drawers.
I never had issues until turning up my home humidier and it's MUCH more humid in the summer here.

Re: Whole House Humidification - Rainout
Ok, so in order to manually adjust temp tube, I have to switch the humidifier to manual?

Re: Whole House Humidification - Rainout
Ok, so climate control is set to auto. Assuming that is the tube temp? Otherwise the next line says the tube temp is 81.
If so, I will turn off climate control and play with temp.
Thanks!
