Things not showing up

Hi, In the last two months I've posted twice, and when I search my username, these are not at the top of the list.

Someone I should approach about this?

Low expiratory pressure

Hi again, I think in the end I'm going to need an APAP, Bipap, or Bilevel machine. Since I didn't qualify for Medicare (criteria too benign), I'll need something on the less pricey end as I'll be buying it. Could anyone explain the difference between the threee typesand suggest some less expensive m...

Hi all, Has ANYONE had a good response to Mandibular appliance? All the posts I've see so far have been negative.

Thanks,

Re: Bongo System.

Hi, thanks for the responses and the links to earlier posts. The bongo plags obstructy my breathing 90% on nasal exhale--they way suffocate with a really bad cold.. Maybe a strategy is to do the exhale very slowly as to not feel the resistance. When I did the titration study Bipap was a lot better w...

Bongo System.

Hi all, I last posted 2/19. I had a PSG 1/19 because I thought OSA might explain my cognitive decline. The AHI was 7 and RDI. Since it was mild and the titration study was miserable, I never started CPAP. I had a follow up PSG 11/19. This time the AHI was 0.9 and the RDI 20.3. Nothing that Medicare ...

Re: Hello everybody

Thanks again. As far as the suffocating feeling, it seemed very hard to exhale. As far as I can tell, I did best on BiPap with pressures of 12/5. I don't have a machine yet but I've made the appointment to do so. James_Williams: "The CPAP can make you feel like your suffocating if the starting press...

Re: Hello everybody

Thank you for the really useful posts. On the sleep study , the AHI was 7.3/hour, lowest pulse ox 91%, arousals 28.7 per hour. On the titration study the AHI was 56, arousals 44/hr, pulse ox 99% over 90, 1% 80-90. The CPAP made me feel like I was suffocating a lot of the time. I'm guessing that with...

Hello everybody

Hi all, hope this is OK place to post. Im 72, and slim and have issues with memory and sharpness. If I have to get up early to I feel something like the 'jet lag' queasy feeling like after a transatlantic flight. I had a sleep study that said I had mild sleep apnea. Then I had a titration study that...
