Re: Hose diameter, new mask - what am I missing?
A piece of your DreamWear mask is stuck in the long hose. I circled it....remove it and your new mask will fit. Common problem. Wish I had a dollar for every time I see it happen. somthing stuck.JPG THANK YOU! I tried pulling at that piece earlier, but it was jammed in there so tight I figured it w...

Hose diameter, new mask - what am I missing?
Hello! I’ve been using the Dreamwear nasal cushion and just got the Resmed Airfit n30i nasal cushion to try out. The n30i hose connection doesn’t fit into the hose I have. I feel like I’m missing something obvious. I thought hosing is a standard size. Do I need to buy a new hose to go with the new m...

Re: Looking at my data for the first time...
Hi! I upped my minimum pressure a little white ago, and it seems to have helped lower my AHI. Most nights now seem to be below 3 -- I even had my best night yet with 1.89...followed a few nights later by a worse night at 5.47. I'd love any feedback! Should I keep the min and max as-is? Does it look ...

Re: How did you find your favorite mask?
I’ve been using a cpap for several months now and am starting to feel used to the Dreamwear nasal cushion finally. But I sleep on my side a lot, and it tends to break the seal when it comes into contact with the pillow. I ordered the Dreamwear nasal pillows and tried that last night for the first ti...

How did you find your favorite mask?
I’d like to hear stories about how you settled on your mask of choice. Did you just keep ordering ones to try until you found your favorite? How many nights did you give yourself to try out a new one?

Re: Looking at my data for the first time...
Set your pressures, Min 10, Max 20. I’ll give that a try tonight, thanks. I’m not really sure what I’m looking at in these charts, but I’m trying to learn. Is there anything that jumps out? Just a low rustle of "could be better". You're not having too many things flagged, you're not having a lot of...

Looking at my data for the first time...
I've been using CPAP for about a month now and haven't felt any difference. I'd love any thoughts on my OSCAR data. I attached Thursday and Friday nights, which are pretty typical for me. (Both times, I woke up early in the morning -- 4:30 or 5 -- and took my mask off because I couldn't fall back as...

Re: Mask making noise but machine shows 100% fit
I have never seen anything but 100% mask fit reported by the Dreamstation or DreamMapper. I guess that is partly because leaks usually wake me up. PR must set the bar REALLY low though. I’ve been wondering about this. One of my first nights using the cpap, I woke up up because the seal broke and wa...

Re: Mask making noise but machine shows 100% fit
If hubby has a problem with the noise and you don't, it sounds like he has a problem being very supportive. You can get background noise or nature sounds, I used to use a fan as a masking noise, not for cpap noise. Jim He’s so conscious of not making me feel awkward about it that he at first wouldn...

Re: Mask making noise but machine shows 100% fit
If you like the hose attaching at the top ResMed has a similar connection with the N30i and P30i. They are supposed to be more quiet in terms of vented air but I haven't tried either one to verify it. I don't hear a thing on my P30i. When I tried the N30i, I did hear some front venting, it's ventin...

Re: Mask making noise but machine shows 100% fit
The machine shows it was at 100% fit for all night though. It’s actually shown 100% since I started using it. I use the Dreamwear nasal cushion. I’d appreciate any advice on what might be going wrong or how to investigate this. Thank you! You need to look at Oscar to see what the night was actually...

Mask making noise but machine shows 100% fit
Hello! I’ve been using CPAP for three or four weeks now, and I’m still getting used to it. Last night, my husband said the mask was making so much noise with escaping air that he went to sleep on the couch. The machine shows it was at 100% fit for all night though. It’s actually shown 100% since I s...

Re: Help for a newbie getting used to mask
It uses wifi to automatically upload to a cloud that he has access to. It's not WiFi....it's cellular service just like phones use. Now some Respironics machines will use BlueTooth for connecting to YOUR phone so you can use the app on your phone but the doctor gets his data from the internet cloud...
