Why can you not still wear a mouth guard?

Get a new one, heat it up and fit your gums.

Didn’t think that would work

Re: Need help keeping my mouth open!

Most people I know that wear dentures take them out at night when they sleep for comfort and put them into soak in a cleaner. I guess if you want to sleep with them in it's up to you. Yes I sleep without them. I know it’s not good for your gums if you don’t take them out. Plus I think the grinding ...

No plans to fix the septum?

Need help keeping my mouth open!

So I’ve been a full face mask user for a long time. Bad deviated septum keeps me from being able to breathe threw nose. I’ve been a teeth grinder and wore a mouth guard at night. But about 9 months ago I got full dentures. I was excited to not have teeth at night to grind. But that is causing my mou...

Re: My sleepyhead data

Here is the most recent data from my cpap. The leak rate has dropped drastically which is all thanks to Padacheek. Karen at padacheek gave me pointers and helped much better. But other wise I see the ahi is higher not sure what that means. My cpap Fisher and paykel icon auto is acting up and going t...

Re: My sleepyhead data

Got my padacheek yesterday. It's really comfortable but seemed to cause a lot of air leaks that make the wonderful farting noises. Of course I know I have a issue with leaks from the data I posted but the leaks never woke me up from making noises like this. I tried tightening the mask and adjusting ...

Re: My sleepyhead data

It's very possible that the sweat plays a factor. It mixes with facial oils that also are secreted during the night and tend to accumulate and later on the seal just gets broken more easily. Try a mask liner (you can make one or buy one) and see if the liner will absorb some of that sweat and facia...

Re: My sleepyhead data

Tightened up my mask last night and the first half of the night I slept decent then it went downhill. I sweat easily even though I have my ac turned low, I wonder if the sweating is part of the issue with air leak

Re: My sleepyhead data

I cannot breathe out of my nose so full face was my only option. I went threw probably 8 masks before finding this one that leaked the least or not at all. I'm guessing it's leaking more than I know and it's loosing the pressure I need and also waking me up. I've been using this mask for a couple ye...

You need to first thing work on your leak management.
All those gray areas on the graphs....that's large leak and there's a lot of it and well beyond what the machine can compensate for.
It's massive and prolonged.

Do you by chance have a beard?
No beard. So leaks probably from my mask?

My sleepyhead data

Hi all, new to forum. Made a post on here http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t176549/Issues-sleeping-for-past-6-months.html One member suggested getting sleepyhead to post my data. This is what I took screen shots of. Any insight on what this means because I am lost and do you need other screen shots...

Issues sleeping for past 6 months.

Hi all. Been using a cpap for about 15 years now and can't go without it. Lately I've noticed I'm not getting my normal sleep like I was before. I fall asleep too easily which reminds me of how I was before getting diagnosed. I feel exhausted during the day. I've noticed I sleep the worst the first ...
